I got my TLB split toes last week and I opted for a double sole because comfort
and the outsole is rubber (TLB's city sole) but the extra midsole is leather and I've never seen a midsole like this before, it's got depth of color. No one will ever see it, but the edge honestly looks better than any leather upper I've ever seen, it's insane. It's probably waxed.

Can anyone rec some boots that look ok and are actually good for walking? I pretty much only wear zero drop running shoes normally so whenever I try on leather boots they feel like fucking wooden boxes on my feet.

And no, "breaking them in" doesn't fix this. It's a fundamental difference if the footwear is flexible and anatomical or not. My current plan is just to buy some high top leather shoes.
