No, just my local watchmaker. The architecture is nothing special so any watchmaker will know how to work on one. Mine runs very well when it's fully wound, it took a full month to be a minute fast, otherwise it's about + or - 10spd.

I have one and while it looks great it's really hard for me to use since it doesn't show the current time in the stopwatch and timer modes. If you don't use those modes or don't care about seeing the current time it's a good alternative. I put it on a bracelet which costs more than the watch.

Personally the cheapest solar I would go for is the GW-B5600SL. It might be a bit more than the models you mentioned but it's something I wouldn't find lacking.

However, it hasn't gone up with inflation since our economies went to shit. 5k today is like 3k 10 years ago which was the going rate (round about).
