Glasses can improve your appearance if you're ugly by softening angular/blocky features (round frames), making you look less like a blob (square/rectangle frames) , balancing upper and lower halves of your face if you have one much wider than the other ('cats eye' frames, half-frames, others), adding contrast to people with similar hair and skin color (thick frames), or just harmonizing well with your outfit and style.

Do not do LASIK for vanity reasons. It is permanent and has a small chance of fucking up the rest of your life.
Take a few hundred bucks of your LASIK savings and go to a high-end optometrist. Try on a bunch of styles, take pics (rear camera on phone, selfie cam has dogshit focal length and makes you look retarded), get their opinions on what suits you. Don't buy anything on first visit.

I'm a black dude and I wear nonprescription glasses just to appear less threatening when I'm out and about. The difference in treatment with vs without them is night and day. No more suspicious stares, no more purses being clutched or phones being put away when I come by. I literally found a cheat code for perception. Feelsgoodman.

I've had to wear them my whole life, Lasik doesn't work long term. You'll always look sort of better without glasses (unless you're kinda ugly and glasses make you look better cause it hides your face)
But theres a lot of things in life you just can't control.. just get contacts, wear them when you feel like being attractive (do not do this shit every day or you will fuck your eyes up to the point of never being able to wear contacts again).
accept that you need to wear glasses to see. It sucks but it will never change
