The cold season is approaching but I only have a handful of sweaters to keep me warm. I'm thinking I need to get some more sweaters/hoodies/etc. but I don't know what to get. Give me warm fashion inspo.

People out here acting like cotton sweaters can't keep you warm. If it's heavy it's gonna be warm.

Wool, cashmere etc are proven to be warmer. They’re just better fabrics too. Heavy cotton sweatshirts don’t breathe as well. Even if you do get a bit sweaty wearing a wool sweater it doesn’t get smelly and grow bacteria the way cotton does. You can hang the wool sweater outside and air it out for a few hours and it’s okay to wear again. You can honestly get away with washing a wool sweater like twice a year if you want.

I think Spier does most of their notch lapels at 3.75'-4'. That's on the bigger end for rtw, especially at their price point, but I wouldn't say it's ridiculous or really out there. You're probably just too used to the shitty tiny lapels that every mall brand has been selling for the past 15 years

It’s cheaper too. I only wish it came in black. That was the only reason really I was considering Buck Mason but for 300 I think it would be worth it if it lasted me several years which I feel like it would

I’ve got probably ten Pendleton sweaters and some fleeces from Filson. Those and a really solid wool pea coat are my favorites.
