What are some genuinely cheap and decent find thrift or vintage stores in NYC?

Preferably not selling 'pre-loved' luxury brands and 2000s levis for $60

dude. if you live in NYC you have got to get more creative than that.
>millions literally of people asking themselves the same exact question
I'm sorry I can't post my sources because you all will drive the prices up but, look to online is all I can say.

>harley tee
idk what that is; I mostly wear linen button downs with carpenter/chef pants and boots, or sometimes band tees or homemade silk screen graphic tees
>be on top of yard sales in your area and get there early as fuck
old ladies are already on top of this, they're there before the yard sale starts and they sell to the exact preloved stores you're talking about
>estate sales
>thrift when you're out of town
as for online - think about situations where
>clothing is required to be issued and worn by someone for a specific task
>it's not in the interest of anyone to have to replace / repair that item of clothing
>even better if there is high turnover in the occupation (chefs), because this drives the availability of items up and the price down
that's why I typically go for real occupational wear not "designer" for a lot of things - however I am a worker and am comfortable dressing like this.
bonus;
>real used work shirts with someone's name on the breast and maybe a company logo on the back
these have been popular underground for about five or seven years but still have yet to truly pop off

This was a micro trend in 90s on the punk/alt side. You might see it in old music videos sometimes.
