drydown and sillage are still similar, at least in my experience. i have a bottle from the silver/black box from back in the days, where it was a straight copy of layton and smelled identical to my sample (which was also pre-reformulation layton), and a bottle from when the silver box emerged. the juice had a lighter color and even though that doesn't mean anything it still hinted at differences, and they certainly were there. way more apple instead of spices in the opening, which gave those boss bottled vibes. since i then had two bottles and then turned away from vanilla juice, i never bought another bottle. they might have changed it further. i also don't know how much it matches the current formulation of layton, since i didn't bother with layton after having something that actually smells identical.
it used to be one of the 3-4 accurate clones of something out there (together with afnan 9pm and al rehab dakar), so if it is no longer a good clone, we're back at like 2 good clones in the entire world of clones.

any frags with a similar feeling to Eau Sauvage but more suited to cloudy days and fall? I don't mean a similar smell but I guess something classic and put together for lack of a better term. something that might go with an OCBD and a knit tie the way Eau Sauvage goes with a partially unbuttoned linen shirt in the summer

Being the center of attention has no inherent social value. For example you csn start screaming or shitting in public and everyone will look at you and you'll be the center of attention for a while.

Is it attention seeking if I want people's attention?
Is it really that bad if I want to be fragrant?
Is it really a crime if I want to smell more of what I wear and also make people's day with a nice scent?

Sounds to methat you're a mean asshole

This is the driest Oud i experienced. Bought it at a local arab perfume oil store. Really nice, smells like an old wooden cabinet in a dark basement.
Not your typical rose-oud-sweet shit stuff.

Haven't bought myself but I looked into them because my feed was getting spammed with them too and they're garbage by pretty much all accounts (except a few posts/comments dickriding them hard enough that they were probably made by their own marketing team lol). Lot of reports of them being actively horrible and causing rashes, even the decent reviews all say shit like "its fine but it smells cheap and nobody would mistake it for real Lost Cherry". I'd save your money for the good stuff instead of buying clones targeted at broke niggas

Loewe Esencia EDP is the best clone, Montblanc Explorer is the best cheap clone. Zara is bottom of the barrel with the worst performance ever.
