Bought a pair of Patriot boots from Franks last night.
I called them up and told them I wanted to put a 3mm insole inside them and asked if that would change the sizing, they told me it would and to go up one width size. It's now going to be a EE width, I hope the sizing is right because idk if they will do a size exchange.

It's kind of a curse. Assuming we're right and know how to dress and for a fact dress well, we will always be judgemental towards other people at any event. Going by length by itself isn’t very helpful. Find a brannock or a measuring tape and measure your heel to ball and width/circumference at the widest point in addition to length. Email C&J with your measurements and they can get you close. I’m a ~12D US on a brannock and buy TTS in US brands. For C&J I’m an 11.5E UK and a 12UK in Trickers. I usually ignore the size down advice most people give due to a high instep.

Bonafe is extremely flexible, so it might even be possible to do with GMTO. For example they feathered the toebox for me on a GMTO.
