It was based off military uniforms from the Great War. It looked cool and wasn't a larp for the 20's fascists because most of them were actual veterans. Your options are as follows:
>Dress up in UCPs or OCPs and pretend to be a Global War on Terror veteran (read: larping)
>Take inspiration from modern military uniforms, take elements but incorporate your own elements (A bit larpy, but tasteful and looks cool if done right)

Fashcore. But this is a bit badly done. The leathers should be one uniform colour and that belt is not supposed to sit above the waistband of the jodhpurs. His shirt sleeves are also sloppily rolled up. He should get a real service shirt.

Use good cuts and high quality materials. I believe fascist style from the time IS timeless, but if you want to modernise, avoid the jodhpurs and instead use regular trousers, or at least a less baggy jodhpur. The riding boots can stay, but don't do OPs low boots and chaps look as this is even more LARPy than riding boots. Just keep a clean and neat appearance with a militaristic edge, mimic officer outfit details if you are the refined type.
