Maxing my T levels with cold showers, eating a shitton of fish, chicken, protein. Doing HIT training at the gym and overspraying Cool Water.
Had the feeling that my T levels are so fucking high, i'm desiring to top feminine males. Best position when they are doggy, while they huge nutsack hanging and they hole is already luped up for entry.
Dunno it's probably Cool Water that kicks high my T levels.

SOTD: Extra Virgo Animal Café. Great animalic civet opening (think of Zoologist Civet's amber take on that ingredient) that warms up all austere, bitter dark coffee notes. Extremely well done coffee fragrance that doesn't conform to the usual sweet-ambery-vanillic bullshit coffee scents. I am considering getting a bottle. What are you wearing lads?

PdE is one of the best popular niche houses around. I would go for:
>Azemour Les Orangers

I have a bottle of Shalimar from 1970s that projects like a motherfucker and lasts for 12 hours, same for my OG Fahrenheit. Stop buying new bottles.

Hate to disagree with you. Recent Fahrenheit project really well. Watch some recent reviews, people claim that recent formulations of Fahrenheit are similar good or even better than vintage.
Also same with Drakkar Noir, bought a vintage bottle. That shit was never a projection beast, even vintage wasn't.

I’m the poster by the way. But I definitely go noseblind to scents. But I don’t spray it where it’s right under my nose for that reason. For instance I sprayed 40knots 2 weeks ago for a friends party and could barely smell it on myself. I’m no expert but does being overwhelmed in social situations play a factor in being able to whiff my scent? Because when I’m at the gym I can’t really smell anything at all, not even much of the BO you’d expect. I should probably ask google this question kek

noseblindness is not a thing or at least it takes a really long time to get it (24h+), the reason you can smell it on clothes and not on yourself is because the fragrance is trapped in fabric way easier than it can stay on your skin
it pisses me off whenever people say that you can go noseblind after 1h or so, retard go to a gas station and you can sit in there for hours upon hours, you still gonna smell the fucking petrol

The best cologne I've ever smelled is Creed Aventus. A YouTuber years ago did some reviews on cologne and talked about a copy called Insurrection II by Reyane. I bought it and a few other copies they did and they were 98% identical to Creed which is like $250 a bottle. I'm normally against cheap knock offs, but Reyane makes very very good scents. Sadly an old roommate of mine threw away hundreds of dollars of my collogne. I need to hunt down Reyane's newer versions as they apparently improved them even more.

I like its woody smell, guess I'm a sucker for vetiver. Definitely wont spend money on it since it's similiar enough to Encre Noire but not as dark.

Tried also: Marbert Gentlemen and the Sport version, wasn't really hyped by it.
Then Blue Steel. Great name, starts fruity synthetic, and quickly turns into a sour musky thing that I can only describe as old man sweat.
Then there is Marbert Man Pure Intense, a sweet fragrance. It reminds me of Joop, but here the cheaper materials make it somehow more rounded and less obnoxious to me, can recommend.

Yep, worst clone of Aventus. Chemical, screechy smelling opening(retards confuse it with a "smoke note"), very citrusy, lacks the fruitiness. Lacks the musky ambergris, overall actually not an Aventus clone, it lacks so many components. But overall Armaf is a bad clone house, comparing the quality with other clone brands. Revisit it in some time, initially I was thinking the same but started picking up much more nuance after having developed my nose a bit. Guys please for fuck's sake stop wearing gourmands.
The whole genre stems from A*men, which is a rebranded womans fragrance. Even ourguy Luca Turin said that it would smell good on a woman but would be ridiculous on a man. And Amen worked just because the strong sweetnes was balanced with stinky patchouli. Modern gourmands, are not balanced, they are just various degrees of sterile sweetness and nothing else. It all smells like pudding, cookies, sweet alcohol and other stuff for kids and women. Fucking Polo Green has more youth to it than Oajan. My colleague wore it (either that or Killians Share), he's a young guy, and the impression that he makes wearing it is "I have a feminine hobby and spend significant amount of money trying to be posh". I don't know what convinced everybody that the smell of humans personal space is less attractive than a fucking cinabun and overweetened latte, but that's ridiculous. I'm assuming most of you are going for a traditionally masculine style, so wear something that reflects it. Most modern chypres and fougeres have some musk to them, it doesn't have to be Furyo
>but girls like it
no, they don't know what they like, so what they say they like is the stuff that indicates the guy takes care of himself. If some of you retards didn't discover yet, doing what a woman says you should do is the path to becoming a woman yourself. Wanting compliments is pathetic and uncharismatic, and in no way is an indicator of how good of an impression a fragrance makes.

Does anyone know which brands send free samples over DMs from instagram?

I got Aesop to send me one once. But not many seem to. It's fun to get free stuff

the amount of posts itt has reduced but i'm not seeing any crossed out post numbers.

sotd etruscan water from a sample
it's good, but doesn't beat chypre palatin for my go-to chypre.

>a thick wall of incense
incense is any material of vegetable origin that's burned for its smell, sandalwood and oud are incense in some parts of the world
anyway, Avignon is frankincense/olibanum, myrrh, labdanum, a tiny bit of black pepper, maybe coriander, and that's it
>little development
I agree, you have to like the stuff they burn in churches to like it
>2-3h
it lasts about 6-7h on my skin, and stops projecting after about 1,5h, though as usual ymmv
>CDG2 MAN
drier, much more wood, less incense, more pepper and assorted spice, almost half as expensive per ml

>see pic related and check the study yourself
>no control group(s)
the results of that poorly designed study don't disprove that testosterone might increase as a result of physical exercise and that it would decrease more without a cold shower, or that it would not undergo significant changes as a result of a cold shower without prior physical exercise, among other things

Need advise
Age - 23
Season - year-round
Budget - max 100$
Need a casual perfume for office work
I tried a sample of Hugo Boss Bottled not too long ago and was thrilled, but I later read that it wasn't the best fragrance for its money.

yeah well the contender is a youtube video with some random guy making assumptions so don't expect double blind randomized controlled trials for such a thing. whether or not something is poorly designed for the lack of a control group is left to be discussed. the majority of studies leave much to be desired, but such is the academic world, which doesn't allow for better research, mostly due to lack of financing.
there are similar studies out there which also suggest that cold showers do not affect testosterone, but i didn't bother searching for them all, since i'm just writing a fucking reply on 4chan and not a review.

You need another visit to the store to sniff a bunch of stuff. But since you're 23 and on a budget, get something like YSL Y EdP or whatever.

I have. Obviously you haven't. Either that or your nose is fucked up. The most prominent note by far is the plum.

actually all that makes sense, but I like New Bond street because I personally think it smells really really good. Then, because I think I smell good I actually want to be around people more because it's like I'm showing off, and I'm more 'up.' So the total effect is that I smell good, I'm more up, I'm more social, and I feel good. I think this is a win win win. It's the same thing when I put on non-gourmand scents too. I put on some H24 and I feel great about that too. At some point I just want to put on the good smell, huff myself, and tell everyone else to suck my balls. BTW Oajan smells fuckin good too. Shit has so much cinnamon in it I was convinced it smells like blueberries.

$92 Prada L'homme. Crisp, clean, thinly sweet, fresh, sandalwood. It smells like clean clothes. You can wear it literally anywhere. The projection is great, the performance is great.
