Do you guys fragmax? I use soap nuts to watch my clothes, since they have no scent. Medicine soap to shower. I only use shampoo once a week and it's baby shampoo, also doesn't really have a scent. My hair wax is the only thing that I haven't found unscented, but the one I have smells kind of natural almost and doesn't clash with my fragrances. I'm trying to only smell like my perfume combined with my natural body odor. I also don't shave my junk and pits so I still get natural musk. I only shave my balls and trim the rest to get the right amount.

I mostly get floral notes. I recognize the violet leaf. Apparently the others are lotus and mimosa. Some citrus but it's weaker than the flowers. Sweet. Not for me.

This is supposed to smell like theme park water rides. It smells like chemicals and dirty rubber, not so much like chlorine like I had hoped. If you want to smell something like ozone, burned electronics, rubber, etc., this might be one you want to check out. The drydown loses some of the harshness and I like it more than the opening. I respect it but I don't want to smell like this.

Don't blind buy Tauer (or frags in general for that matter), i love them but your mileage might vary - you can get his samples on the Tauer website of from Le Secret du Marais (among others)
He also uses a base (tauerade?) which makes most of his frags to be quite similar in the drydown
Sundowner is the most crowd-pleasing frag i tested from the line

Orto Parisi is interesting but weird, i think it is way less consistent than the Nasomatto line, their frags (although high quality) are def not blind buy worthy

Went to LV store and tried afternoon splash, imagination, and ombre nomade. Afternoon splash lasted 30 minutes but it smelled pretty good. Imagination smells fresh and good but pretty boring. I got tabac from maison alhambra and it's incredibly close to tobacolor, specially in middle and bottom notes. duration is amazing as well, side by side it's unrecognizable.
done a side by side for insurrection II wild and while it's not pure havane, pure havane is 200$ and insurrection wild is 30$. it lasts long but it's not as dense, missing the patchouli note and the white honey not being so animalic as it is in pure havane.

For the most part no. There are really few clones out there that I have smelled and which have hit the mark. Al Rehab Dakar, Detour Noir before reformulation and Afnan 9PM. That's it. I have tested every Platinum Egoiste clone, all trash. Same with a bunch of other clones if someone I bought samples from on parfumo offered a sample of those as well. It's better to rate them as separate fragrances and not as the same thing. Like, Lattafa Asad is a good fragrance, it's just not a good Sauvage Elixir clone.

Almost through my 60 mL and already bought a 100 mL backup, so I have to disagree on that part.
It's just that sometimes people hype a clone up, saying it's good etc., and when you smell it, you immediately notice all the shortcomings. Not just in the opening, but in the drydown, too. I got over clones really quickly, just needed a few disappointing samples first. Also, you usually can't smell them at any store, which means you're blindbuying that shit even if you know the original, so you gotta hope they managed to pull it off. It ain't worth it. I'd rather autistically search for Platinum Egoiste deals than wear any of its shitty clones.
