I got a steal on mine, they were like $2,600 in the US at the time but I got mine at a big dealer in Japan, who already had it on sale and then I got duty free and a 5% discount promotion for using a foreign VISA, ended up paying like $1,300. Yeah I'd actually prefer the Wilson without the "engraving," it was just the first gun I could find with the right combo of classic and modern features, in the right finish, and with the right grips.

a doublestack 9mm 1911 would be pretty neat but as far as I know it'd make the grip have to be thicker and then it would no longer be a normal 1911 shape. And of course 2011s with plastic frames are ugly to begin with. But still, 7+1 of .45 is more than enough for practically any situation you will ever need to shoot, which are rare to begin with.

They do exist, but yeah they're fat. I think it'd be possible to do a pretty slim one using 1.5 stack mags like the Shield Arms G43/48 mags though, they manage to fit 15 rounds in a gun that's narrower and shorter than a standard 1911 with those.

Yeah, a Hi-Power would definitely be a good alternative. A nice CZ could also work but blued or polished ones are hard to get, and neither gun has that classic 1911 silhouette or heritage that I really want. fwiw the one I have isn't a straight off-the-shelf ETA, it's got some Ball-specific mods and is COSC certified. In general though yeah I'd buy something else for the money, I just happened to fall in love with this specific model and its gorgeous machined dial (it's hard to capture in pics but it's very 3D and is this amazing pearl white that looks silver in some light) and it was a damn good deal. My original intent when I went to Japan that time was to buy a used Seamaster or Speedy Auto or something and in retrospect I kinda wish I had.

Carabiner is a ti2 whar-biner. Essentially unobtanium at this point unless you browse blade forum and stumble upon someone selling a second hand one. Mike from ti2 is a dickhead and only makes pens now. The tiny carabiner on the carabiner is a nite ize mini locking s-biner that I want to replace with a similarly sized titanium shackle.
Ring is something I picked up in turkey for $20. You can find the same ones on ebay for like $60, just search 925 silver onyx ring zirconium. The bracelet is like 18 years old, I have no idea where it came from, it was my brothers. The necklace is just a random rope chain I got from winners(Marshalls for Americas) for $40, the pendant is St Jude, Patron Saint of lost causes. Wallet is from the brand Capsule, model is the accomplice.

That should be a good swap. Mass drop ksc75s come in black if you want to keep the color. I personally don't use yaxipads on that set up because it would make them look a bit more premium and my goal is for them to look as shit as possible to confuse people like >>17680917. I do want orange ear pads but everything I find is either yaxi pads or yaxi pad knock offs, it's damn near impossible to find some small orange pads, I've looked through pages and pages of aliexpress. Retrospekt has some but it would be $40 with the shipping for me to get them which I refuse in principle. I also ended up preferring the cheap headband over the portapro one because it weighs nothing and is really comfortable, even after hours of wear I feel no pain on my ears like I did with the original band, and this is with the thin original pads.
