you're right. I bought them as just bathing shoes and now they're basically the only shoes I wear. they're also the only breathable shoes that don't look weird with socks, unlike flipflops and sandals, and I hate not wearing socks

Lol, yeah I use them so fucking much. Once they're tainted with dirt I usually leave them as outdoor shoes though. I definitely garden with them and previously used them as an everyday errand shoes.

I actually wore out my last ones enough to the point that I put holes in them. A shoe that's already full of holes gained a new one. It's the rite of passage for Croc users.

The original design, yes.
When they got popular last year, they sent manufacturing to China or wherever and now they're disposable in a year which kinda makes them not based anymore.
If someone makes a super strong deluxe knockoff that is built as good as the old ones I'd say they'd be the best shoe ever made again.
