WTF are you even on about, Orient has always been notorious for offering the best cheap divers on the market. That was literally their thing already long before they even released the Bambino's to the world.
Mako then Ray, then ver. 2 of those then in more recent times Neptune, Kano and Kamasu.

I realized something the other day.

I've been collecting watches for about 15 years now, since I finished university.
When the coof started, everyone in my company was told to work from home and I stopped wearing a watch every day.
But even when I returned to the office and basically everything is back to normal now, I did not resume the habit of wearing a watch.
Nowadays, I really only wear a fitness tracker when I'm exercising or doing some other kind of physical activity.

So I'm going to sell all this. And this is all that's left from a collection that used to be 3 times this size....maybe I'll keep the Cartier or something for when I get dressed up.
I never thought it would happen to me but I've moved past watches.

This is a cop out, though. You have to give at least somewhat of a shit about what other people think because how people think of you determines how they treat you.

If they think you're an immature manchild because you dress like one, that will be a factor when you get passed over for a promotion in favor of some guy who dresses and acts more professionally.

Personally, I like the Santos-Dumont.

The Santos is a neither-nor watch. Too chunky to be truly elegant, too fine to be a real sports watch. If you're the kind of person who owns only one watch, the Santos is brilliant (especially because you can swap between straps and bracelet in seconds).
However, if you already have a sports watch, then the Santos-Dumont is the much more elegant choice.

Green's a very tricky color. If you make it too light, it ends up looking like Kawasaki green. That's fine for a cheap watch you only wear a few times, but not for a watch that costs what a Santos does.
The subdued greens all end up looking ashen and dark.

Interestingly, Aston Martin F1 had this same problem last season. They went with a traditional British Racing Green for their livery and it just ended up looking near-black on television, so this season they went with a much brighter shade. Now it looks green but, also, now the """traditionalists""" are complaining it's no longer BRG.

Shit, it's an anonymous imageboard, so I'll admit it: I've posted as Mortadello before. It's the easiest thing in the world:

>Step 1
Post one of his usual images (just take one from last thread, since he never changes them) along with "Sup, my friends? What are we wearing?"
>Step 2
Wait for the first guy to drink some haterade and call "Mortadello" a rich retard
>Step 3
Respond to that guy with ">seething"

At that point, I usually go for a run and when I come back, I've got at least a hundred new posts to entertain me.

Do I feel bad? No, not at all, since this general is usually just as shitty even if I don't do anything.

Anons, anons, please don't get suck into the crazy spiral.

I'm the real Lawyeranon. (Odd pic as evidence.)

I have tried nos posting my watches in these threads in the past, btw. I also tried posting entirely without any image at all, but those post often got lost into the ones with picures, memes, etc...

There has been periods in which I haven't post a single image and believe it or not, since I'm not a native english speaker someone eventually realizes it's me and shit hits the fan AGAIN. Plus, other people like the asshole up there keeps using my images even if I don't.

I always try my best to be kind and yet I apparently I can't change (neither understand) the way these threads react to my MERE PRESENCE.

I'm gonna list a few of the thigs I've been told:
1. If I post my watches:BAD
2. If I don't post my watches: BAD AND LARPING
3. If I post the same images: BAD AND LAZY
4. If I post different images: BAD AND FLEXING

Also:
a) I'm either too wealthy and an asshole or I don't own my watches and larping, or poor with acces to other person's watches
b) a corrupt lawyer or a narc or something
c) too fat and can't move and friendless
d) an egyptian (wtf)
e) a jewelry's employee
f) a CIA glowie (that was oddly funny)
g) I photoshop the watches on my arm (????)

Funny thing is... I've never insulted/mistreated anyone here. I like being kind and nobody can say otherwise. In fact, I'm happy whenever I manage to share something with someone, like anon who now knows about Celadon, or recently Ludwig Oechslin, or rare Omega references, or recommendations about approaching luxury ADs, etc. And I actually appreciate any imput to me as well, like the Alien watch I'm going to buy.

So, imho it's just that this place have some squizos ungrapping out of control by my presence, and you should just ignore them, as I do.

Btw, even if they aren't the best, I like my pics. Why shouldn't I use them in a WATCH FOCUSED IMAGE BOARD?
