Like any community, there will always be those that are insufferable about it. Im not a menswear person but at least the majority of recognisable menswear posters here know their shit and are generally engaging and happy to help. God some of the fits are atrociously homo

Dressing up is pretty simple (for males), not entirely cheap, but the market of insecure men can't be more in demand than nowadays

I like Gentleman's Gazette, but there are some influencers out there that are dangerously misleading menswear to the "alpha male" trend.

mens wear is also one of those things that was 'disrupted' by tech as a sector. tech bros would rather staple their testicles to their legs than tuck in their shirts. whenever you see an untucked polo shirt over dark denim and a chunky watch on a skinny wrist, you have the CS majors you went to school with to thank for it

on the flip side, when i started working my dad bought me two suits and 5 shirts. i wore them to interviews and for the first few days at work, then never again. the suit has been dead in my experience since the early 00s. i am more likely to wear a suit to a wedding/funeral than to work
