too long and too tight at the waist. maybe if you are a lanky stick of a man

It’s very hard to make polos look more than a uniform piece. Their role in “fashion” that’s not workwear is almost totally as an ironic or vintage piece.

>> No.17644730

I’ve tried quite a few polos and hate the fit on most of them.
The greatest one by far for me has been one from Travis Mathew.
It’s like 40% synthetic but the fit and feel is really good.
It was the first one I got actually and have been trying to find one as good as it but keep failing. If I could clone it and make it not so synthetic it would be perfect.

Why does the little crocodile has to be there? Can't I just get any other dark blue polo shirt and look just as good?

>> No.17646490

>>17645281
it's just a more mature t shirt replacement to me, i don't want to iron dress shirt all the time

>> No.17646512

>>17646490
Exactly: it's knit shirt with collar and buttons so step-up from tee-shirt, but requires less to no ironing (unlike button-up shirt) like a sweater. Also versatile and wearable with slacks and sport jackets.

>> No.17646521

>>17643559
must be /fit/ and well groomed to pull it off without looking like a bus boy (I wear Lacoste's all the time and get plenty complements)

>> No.17646526

>>17646227
It's just the history of it. It was the first polo shirt and was invented by a French tennis player whose nickname was the crocodile or alligator or some shit.
