What should I wear to a convention tomorrow? The only fragrances I have at the moment are Hugo Boss Bottled and Ralph Lauren Polo Blue.

Went out and sampled a bunch of stuff at sephora today. I'm offended at the amount of attention ADG Profumo gets -- so unremarkable and boring.

Ik society is kinda fucked rn, but man it does bring a smile to my face how much cheaper, higher quality, and more variety frags are than any other time in history. Back then, only lords and shit could own frags, now some random teen can go to a department store and buy a cheap bottle. Not to mention you can practically make a scent of anything now. Want to smell like a beach? A forest? A literal asshole? Anything you can really think of put into a bottle that almost anyone can buy with money saved from 1-2 days of work.

What's the deal with Roelen? I have a city on fire by imaginary trannies and I was really curious how people created a scent that literally smells like a burnt match. I feel like the perfumer was just fucking around with notes and he randomly got it, instead of having the idea to create it first and then doing it. I checked fagnatica for the match notes and there really aren't that many fragrances with it at all. Pic related was one of them and it looks cool. Wondering if I should get their sample set.

But Story Blue is so fucking good. I rediscovered it, since it was stored in my basement for years. Back then i found it to be too synthetic. But now after smelling some blues, Story Blue is the Blue fragrance i want.
Brutal simple and projection is the biggest someone could experience in fresh fragrance. It smells like pure aquatic accords, without ruining it with too heavy citruses or other bullshit notes they would add to cover the sharp artificial aquatic notes.

I don't think you'll be disappointed by it, but I really don't like blind buying anymore. as for rien (intense version), I can't stress how much I dislike it. I hate prominent aldehydes and it's terribly strong in this one. add in some very very strong incense and it's like you mixed old school soap with an ashtray. very unpleasant for me.
Une Amourette is one that I haven't given a full wear of yet, but I just sprayed the back of my hand to test it and it's quiet pleasant. unisex, leaning slightly feminine. I love the neroli note in it. Was surprised to read it has akigalawood, as I tend to hate prominent oud-y fragrances. this one is blended really well -- the florals balance the oud, and the oud balances the florals.
