Like already suggested, since willpower seems to not be working, take it out of the equation by discarding all the unhealthy food. Simply put, if you literally have no other choice, you'll be eating the healthy food.

That doesn't mean you can never have some unhealthy food here and there, but when you crave it, just buy the amount that you will eat in one sitting, so that there won't be any left over.

This is a very basic idea, which is talked about in the book "Atomic habits", if you're interested in further reading.

You don't need to eat carrots to lose weight if that's your goal. You can eat whatever you want but just stay at a caloric deficit. Instead of fighting 2 battles - changing food you eat to something you don't like and lowering it's amount you will be fighting only one. Over time you will probably drift to healthier foods anyway since they tend to have low caloric density so you end up fuller on X amount of calories a day.

How do you find reason to keep going and push lower weight? After going hard for around a year, I ended up at 17.7bmi for a short while, but since I hit my at the time goal, which I was expecting to be some sort of turning point, I got extremely demotivated and lost all will to continue, so I went back up to 18.3bmi, and now I'm struggling to even stay here.

At the start my motivation was external (opinion of others, etc..), and after it was gone, I have no good reasons to keep going (ultimately it should be for myself, but I really fucking hate myself more than anyone else).

I know how it would be a lot easier on myself to just eat healthy food which is a lot more filling, but I don't live alone so there's always shitty junk food around and my self control is too weak now so I just eat that and am even more hungry the whole day bc it's way less filling + feel a lot worse.

How do you even know what's your bodyfat? Many methods of measuring it are ridiculously ineffective.
Also is it just the stomach? Maybe you have just shit genetics and the fat gets stored primarily in belly area despite this not being very common in women.
But it doesn't even have to be flabby because of fat, it might be caused mostly by weak muscles which don't compress the area at all.
It's quite common for people to start exercise, not loose any fat at all but the muscle gain in core and abs causing significantly lower waist circumference.

I did the tape measure method, but it's maybe not the best method to measure body fat when you lost it through eating disorder. In general girls should concentrate on glutes, core, abs, hip flexors and abductors and possibly quads and adductors if they want that kind of physique. Moderately chest exercise. Possibly back too, because lots of girls have extremely bad posture, and correcting it can be difference lookswise.
Only compound lift girls should do are squats.
Cardio like running, spinning or using stair climber can be useful too.

metformin is used for treating diabetis-2, its an insulin sensitizer. It can have quite some gastrointestinal side effects like loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea (the infamous metformin shits), some even report disgust to food. Ive also read of people getting the munchis though, so, lol. Also there are studies indicating you have a harder time building muscles on it, since it fucks with protein synthesis. It also apparently reduces visceral fat long term. In the longevity scene it is/was pretty popular because it prolonged live in rodents or something.
Its not a weight loss drug though. I just add it to see if it suppresses the hunger I probably will get going hyperthyroidism. Don't do shit like this if you don't have a proper reason!

You need meals with low GI (glycaemic index), aka slow carbs.
I think that legumes have generally very low GI, but sweet potatoes, quinoa and rolled oats can have low GI too. It's partially dependent on preparation, so just google the stuff.

No refeeding and metabolism stuff is a meme, yes your body slows down to adapt to your new calorie intake, but it’s marginal. If you’ve been doing it for 5months you should have lost a significant amount of weight, if your weight loss has slowed down it’s just because your calorie deficit has shrunk with your body. Recheck your bmr, increase deficit.
Personally I take diet breaks every few months where I eat at maintenance for a week or so but for my sanity, it’s not going to hurt you to do that if you’d like, you may see a spike in weight of 5-10lbs but it will be mostly water weight and will dip once you start dieting again.
