Why do the wealthy fetishize working-class aesthetics? Post the fashion of people who have it hard in life.

With struggle comes a capacity for creating beauty in minor accessories and clothes.

Also our current culture has become so vapid that there is no definite "in" group that is not ethno-sexual, and therefore, limited in who can signal their "in" status.

The working class doesn't have that specific categorisation as a defined "in" group. Anyone regardless of their ethnic/religious/sexual makeup can signal being part of the group. As such, I think there's a part where the aesthetic of hardship is always co-opted for the sake of rebellion as it's the easiest in-group to cosplay as.
