like the other anon said, tudors are quite thick. it's okay for a watch to be thick depending on the style, but the thing with Tudor is that they supposedly try to channel the vintage diver designs and from the front it certainly looks like it, but it's a huge letdown once you see it on your wrist and notice how high it sits on the wrist.

it's like, if your watch is thick don't try and hide it, just own it and adjust the design as necessary.

In case anyone is interested, continuing from the last thread. I brought this shitter to a watch shop and after examination they told me the way to remove the stem and crown is by pulling really hard, that’s it. Then they could access the movement and replace the battery.

So yeah, apparently just pulling really hard does the trick on some of these vintage Omega quartz shitters.

If a watch purchase impacts your ability to meet your financial goals you’re a fucking idiot.
To make up a rule on the spot, a watch should cost the lesser of:
- 0.3% of your net worth, or
- 3% of your annual income

Worth $1M and make $100K per year? Go buy that $3K Tudor.

I love it when poorfags seethe about Rolex
>t-they're worn by people I don't like
>waitlists are for l-losers
>I p-prefer JLC/Omega/Breitling/GS/Cartier anyway
>R-Rolexfags can't afford Patek, t-they're the one coping

Meanwhile, in the real world
>worn and highly respected by every watchmaker (Philippe Dufour and Roger Smith among many)
>only brand that makes literally everything in house, metals included
>responsible for defining the codes of modern day sports watches (water and shock resistance, steel bracelet, rotating bezel, etc) - your watch wouldn't even exist without Rolex
>top reliability and accuracy (find me a brand of mechanical watches that GUARANTEES 100% of watches to -2/+2s a day)
>only brand that didn't get its ass torn during the quartz crisis
>can be serviced or fixed locally (ie your watch won't be sent to fucking Switzerland)
>literally impossible to lose money when bought at retail
>absolutely iconic and timeless
>tasteful marketing, no cringe brand ambassadors, no pozzed shit

Honestly Rolex mogs the whole watch industry to a point it's not even funny. They're literally any watchnerd wet dream. Only contrarians and literal retards will accept to throw 10k at anything else. In fact the only reason to not buy a Rolex is if you want a dress watch (and honestly the 1908 sounds like a better deal than any JLC or VC, but you fags aren't ready to hear this).

>REEEEEEE you're a brand whore
No. I'm just smart enough to admit Rolex is far superior in every way to every other brands. I too used to hate Rolex before actually reading about the brand and trying their watches.

Now cope, seethe and dilate, poorfags tranniggers. Rolex will forever be king. SIEG HEIL.

This is such a non-issue. If you're wearing it, it will run indefinitely. If you take it off, it will stop eventually. If it stops, literally just set the time again in seconds.

That said, it's placed much better than on Seiko, excluding the few where it's on the rear display.

Then again, they don't offer a women's Day-Date, which is why they make a solid gold women's Datejust, while a solid gold men's Datejust hasn't been available for some time, IIRC.

That particular bracelet is associated with precious metal and I don't think Rolex wants to dilute that.

For some reasons Rolex is extremely autistic about their bracelets. You can't just walk into an AD and buy any bracelet even though it's compatible with your Rolex. You have to bring your watch and see if it's been greenlighted by Rolex.

For example, the jubilee can be installed on the Oyster Perpetual. But because Rolex hasn't greenlighted it, they won't sell you one. Jubilee = Datejust, Sky Dweller and GMT Master II only.
