Why is this label telling me that I can't use bleach on this white t-shirt?

As far as I know you can always use bleach on white clothes with no problem.

And it's not because it's polyester because I have a cotton one that is also white and says the same.

But what is the reason? As far as I know there is no problem using bleach in white clothes. This is the first time I see this so I'm intrigued in what is the reason.

We don't know how it was treated and dyed, so there's no use asking about shit we have no idea about. It might ruin your shirt, it might not. It's a cheap polyester shirt, so who really cares?

Use Borax or Oxy crystals detergent booster in laundry

You said that it could be because of how it was dyed but white clothes are not dyed as far as I know. The natural color of cotton is like beige but then they use bleach and sunlight to give them the whiter look.

That isn't cotton that is polyester.

Do you think cotton and polyster is naturally bright white with no discolorations at all...?

yeah i do, and what you gonna do about it??

just bleach it so that we can have a laugh at you for not following instructions

Ok, I will bleach it on some little part and see if it gets fucked up. The t-shirt isn't very expensive so it won't be a big lost. I will inform you how it went.

>>17545200
I know cotton for example isn't white but they just bleach it or put it under the sunlight to make it whiter, they don't dyed it with any colour. So if that is true then there shouldn't be any problem using bleach on it because there is no artifical colour to get fucked.

don't use bleach on polyester. it degrades the fibers. it isn't cotton. it will cause them to become brittle. you could do it once and get away with it (fi it was by mistake, for example) but it will not have the 'effect' of bleaching that you intend. You will be better off soaking it in a high concentration of oxyclean whites.

Do you mean that? It doesn't sell in my country I think. I just searched it in the main supermarkets websites and it doesn't show up.

There are other brands that seem similar like Vanish Oxi Advance. I could try that.

ah, okay, then its a mixture of sodium percarbonate and sodium carbonate. Wear gloves. It will remove most stains and brighten most whites, it's great shit. Probably what you linked is the same thing, its often casually referred to as "washing carbonate" or "washing salts" but "washing salt" alone is often only one, not both, and you need both.
