Not strictly passion fruit, but fruity/berry: just received my Musc Moschus by Rania J. It certainly has a shampoo-vibe to it, smells very clean and syrupy. Very playful fragrance. Why the fuck did i slept on H24 Parfum version? I was shocked that i discovered it and it has some moss and earthy notes there. H24 is big NO for me, smells like gummy bears.

FWIW I kind of like it. The opening smells like banana to me, but after about 20 minutes, it smells fresh and green with that ironing steam scent. It lasts all day on me but it doesn't project.

going to blog todays frag hunt, had to kill 6 hours in düsseldorf
LV: surprisingly easy to get into, no queue but it was 1pm and raining. nobody bothered me because i looker like a poorfag
all the frags were honestly mid. like not bad but not 300€ good or however much they cost now. might as well be any 60€ designer.
while trying to find tabac soap i went to manufactum, surprisingly interesting frag selection, even though i'm still soapless. they had eucris edt, knize ten and some penhaligon (spanish leather iirc). eucris really smells just like quorum, knize ten was nice too. i wonder if eucris has better longevity but its also 3x the price.
dior privee at galeria was interesting, moreso than LV. got a sample of everything they had because she had to close the shop heh.
the body shop was kinda boring, tested some of their EdTs but they were all meh. arber was the best one.
breuninger had a decent selection, first store i've seen that stocked lots of penhaligons. sohan was the most interesting brit. ysl tuxedo is overrated. unfortunately the only store in that city that has proper shaving stuff is permanently closed so i'm still tabacless.

Going on a rainy weekday around noon might be perfect. I've only ever went to the LV store on Saturdays, once after work on a Friday. Absolute purgatory, zero chance to get in.
For Tabac, you want to go to a Müller store. They also have nice other soaps, I buy all my soaps from there. The store is elsewhere, though (Düsseldorf-Bilk), but they also have a designer frag selection. Rossmann or dm might have Tabac, but not the Tabac soap.
Tuxedo bottle was empty when I was at Breuninger, so it must have something going for it. I've also tested Concrete at the Breuninger and it really wasn't like concrete, but rather feminine smelling in my opinion.

Let's be completely honest for a second, most men who go into the deep niche of perfumery are homosexuals, one can see this in most reviewers on YT and lots of writers. We are an oddity in that we are the 80's-tier minority that check perfumes carefully just to save money or feel good at home, and we are neither homos (i believe, right?) nor look that strongly to impress chicks, we just like them for what they are, nice smelling waters.

For 2008 and before that, there's clones like Armaf Tres Nuit, supposedly Al Rehab Champion Black, allegedly Lattafa Raghba and some say Rasasi Egra, purportedly Al Haramain L'Aventure Knight.
The original unfinished version in Creed Green Irish Tweed is also a good alternative but costs 10 times more and doesn't have some notes from the classic Cool Water like heavy calone and tobacco, you might as well go with what anon said and purchase a vintage bottle. Pre-2000 are supposedly the best but rare, haven't smelled or read about the Pre-Lancaster days (pre-1992) when it was made in small batches for Europe but some say it was absurdly good but also very rare.

The only one I'd advise caution on is Kouros.
It's a polarizing frag, you'll either love it or hate it and it might not be the best office scent. It's still worth a test if you get the chance.

"Widely reported" is a stretch. The regular public frag communities actually report it as lasting longer than it did in my experience, but not necessarily as 12 hours, either. I got good performance out of it when sprayed on clothes and the performance didn't stop me from getting a bottle of it. It's probably the woodiest smoky fragrance that my girlfriend approved of (followed by Eau des Baux, which is already not that woody anymore).

My gf is kind of right about the homme, it is somewhat “perfumey” without being powdery or anything. I get a lot of that note, which I’m assuming is the cashmeran? alongside strongly identifiable cedar and a kind of ambery/citrus wood cleaner note I’m not into. Keep in mind I’ve never tried any of the original line and don’t even know what iris smells like desu.
I also agree with her that sport is better, but it’s not what I expected. Definitely goes straight to the incense on my skin, not super “heavy” but not exactly light and fresh either. This one’s gonna take more wears to figure out but at first impressions, I wouldn’t buy a bottle of either of these
