I never get the opportunity to talk to trans people irl and you seem normal. Can I ask what makes you feel like a woman? I always wonder how trans people actually feel like they are literally another gender and not just "girly" or "masculine". Why couldn't you dress and act the way you do now but still identify with the sex you were assigned at birth?

Hey, incredibly good question. I think “feels like a woman” is a misnomer that’s used as shorthand explanation. No one, especially someone who’s AMAB, really knows what it feels like to “be a woman” or “be a man” beyond gendered stereotypes. So it’s not so much that I feel like a woman, but that I loathe looking masculine. Looking male and having male traits like wide shoulders and a deep voice just makes me feel like less than rotting seagull shit covered garbage. This is because trannies have a mild brain defect where the part of our brains that maps our bodies is the same as the opposite sex. This is the same part of the brain that lets you touch your knees or elbows without looking because you just intrinsically know where it is. It’s also what gives people phantom limb syndrome where they feel like they still have an arm after they lose one.
