Got a teddy bulbasaur vid where a lot of soi youtubers talked about their most worn watch. I want to say
No matter what a faggot says is his favourite watch in like collection rundowns or something, just KNOW that it 100% IS NOT his most worn watch. at the end of the day, the only watches they actually wear are their ROLEX, AP, VACHERON or PATEK. one of the fags there said his most worn was the seagull 63. bullshit, fuck off. another said it was a seiko. bullshit fuck off. another some stupid microbrand called "dubianshine diplomatic" or something. bullshit fuck off.
No one wears an oris or some other dogshit when they have a rolex in their collection. maybe inside, I kind of get it, you want a collection and maybe like the design, whatever. But if you don't wear an actual established known brand you are a retard, who won't move up. EVERY TIME you go outside there is a 23% chance you may bump into some rich guy who might be into watches. You don't want to be caught unprepared. Imagine this scenario and you say something like "oh yeah this is a "Oris big crown analpointer". Poof any chance to move up, gone.

My main complain with the Explorer II is how similar it is to the GMT Master II.
Indices and hands are pretty much the same. The only real differences are the bezel and the GMT hand.
I wish they made it somewhat different. The original design was its own thing.

I still like it though. Nice Rolex.

And on the whole, less the strap, it doesn't feel cheap. It feels like very expensive industrial equipment that is shitty on purpose. Like, the bezel is a reminder that your scuba tank was also made to the same specs. There's all these little touches that push it into a category you don't usually see. It's like a fancy tractor from 50 years ago if it were still in production. It feels like it was made by Italians, if Italians drank vodka and actually cared if something worked.

Thoughts on the 14270 Explorer?

Looking for something nice to wear every day that doesn't attract attention. Price point on the mid 90s models looks good, potential to become more sought after in the future as well?

yes, at some point i think breitling dropped the "night vision" name and just uses "Evo".

the digital display is visible when using night vision goggles, which i assume is why they called it night vision initially but i guess most people didn't really care that it could do that.

Looking for a watch
> Your budget
under 200 (poorfag)
> Watch type, e.g. dress, diver, pilot
Not sure, see bellow
> Movement, e.g. automatic, hand wound, quartz
quartz or automatic but don't really care

The less complications the better
> Preferred strap option, e.g. leather, nylon, bracelet
brown leather strap
> Wrist size or desired watch size
40mm or less

Basically what I'm looking for is a daily driver watch that can blend with most outfits. Only requirement is brown leather strap. I'm looking for something cheap and reliable without many stuff on the dial. Day/date might be fine, but not a requirement and nothing more than that. Maybe a flieger or dress watch, and preferably something on the thinner side, so no divers nor huge bezels. Something that says "he¡s wearing a wathc, OK", but not "Oh, that's a nice watch" if that makes sense.
