Are flannels as timeless as jeans? I feel like they’re never really in style, nor are they ever out of style, they’re just kind of always around.

NOT talking about those new era hypebeast workwear outer layer ”””flannels””” but the traditional button up ones

That's exactly what timeless means.

You have to excuse op for thinking "timeless" actually means "was cool a full fashion cycle ago, was uncool for a while, and is now cool again and will be uncool in another 5 years"

Same with "classy" which means "awkwardly worn assembly of thrifted garments at clashing levels of formality put together by a high school student"

>its hard to stand out in flannels
What do you mean? Flannels are a very casual garment. You don't stand out wearing casual everyday clothes.

they are and when they fit good they're one of the sexiest shirts on men, they're also soft which adds to the sexiness.

FLANNEL SHIRTS ARE UGLY, AND NOT «TIMELESS», BUT A CHRONICAL BARBARISM.

You always have some of the most retarded takes. Could you please post your fit so that I have an understanding of what your actual tastes are?

>> No.17495060

80% of all tripfags have been and are hispanic. Why? I don’t know but probably something to do with their tradition of personal prestige and hidalguia. Tripfagging is XXI century dandy styling.

they're timeless for sure. but, unless they're part of some current trend, they're fashion suited to men over 30 with a family

teenagers and young 20-somethings just look like goofy posers in them

Are you op? Because you just again described the obvious. Yes, trends are meant for younger people and specifically targeted at them.

>teenagers and young 20-somethings just look like goofy posers in them
Unless they happen to be trendy again, I guess.

reminder that flannel is a woolen fabric.
cotton imitation is flanellette.

the pattern also isn't flannel, it's tartan.
