Please recommend a seiko with black leather strap for a guy with almost the same hairline as that youtuber.

Ended up getting the Edifice (imo the real Casioak).
I accepted the fact that the bracelet doesn’t feel premium but for 100 bucks it’s not bad and it’s only the feel when handling it. Otherwise it’s comfortable and looks good.
I’ve seen hundreds of watches below 1000 and didn’t like any better than this one.

Wearing a bigger watch will not increase your wrist size. In fact, it will just draw more attention to the fact that you are a wristlet. Do not allow your insecurities to get you to waste your money and make you look like a shit clown in the process.

The size of the watch also depends on what you are wearing with that watch. For formal wear, small conservative watches are often seen as more appropriate. For something more casual (especially short-sleeves shirts), bigger watches look better on bare wrists.

Based. I used to feel insulted by watches that cost more than $100 but had the same technology as a $20 Timex, but having had the quartz version of a certain Tissot that has been recently very popular, I realise it was Timex that sucked, not quartz movements.

Now I just wouldn't get anything with a Seiko NH35 or a Selita SW-200 or any movement described as a "workhorse" movement, there's nothing special about those movements, they're certainly not more convenient or more durable than quartz, not any more soulful and while some might say a benefit to a ETA clone or a Seiko movement over a bespoke and actually interesting mechanical movement is the relative inexpensiveness of servicing, it is still nevertheless a LOT more than changing a battery.
