That type of movement is called electric or tuning fork not quartz. Idk about their battery capabilities I've had the same battery in mine for about 3 years and has run like a champ. Omega and Titus(?) make a similar movement as well. And the movement is smoother than automatic actually, highly recommended if you want a unique budget watch

It's called a chronograph (or a stopwatch) and a mechanical one from a 'reputable' brand will set you back at least 2000$, and one from a reputable brand 5000$ or more. When I first got into watches they were the brand I loved to hate.

It's finally here!! My new Amphibia!

Bros I think I'm in love fr fr. I never wanted a pepsi bezel before I saw this, bit I absolutely love how bright and vivid the colors are. It has a nice heft to it, and it's a little thinner than my other Amphibia but still perhaps a touch thicker than the average diver.

It's by no means the most prestigous piece I have but it might be my new favorite. It's just so nice to look at.
