It's rated to 30 meters.

Yes, it will go to 100 feet depth with no problems.

I know there are people who are obsessed with the f91w, but let's get real here:
The greatest 1 and done watch in the world is a Casio G Shock 5600.
You can drop it off a roof, it is waterproof to 200 meters, and is just large enough to feel like you are wearing a watch not a toy.

Based, I think you'll like it. It's easily one of my favorites.

I really like the SKX band but I haven't got around to it yet, so I have it on a blue NATO strap. This picture is kind of shit but it looks really nice IRL, I go swimming with it a lot and it the dial looks really nice in direct light.

I prefer the 5600 but the F91W is cheaper, smaller, durable enough, and water resistant enough. The display is even clearer on the F91W. The disadvantages are the fragile bands and the lack of features like a countdown timer or an annual calendar.

My wife straight up wanted a quartz Michael kors in rose gold and wears it over her tag heuer aqua racer. They don’t give a shit about anything but how it looks with the outfit.
Her “grail” if there were such a thing for someone who doesn’t care. Is a tag heuer carrera with the black dial and gold markers on stainless steel. Basically anything close to pic related.

I have two G-Shocks and love them.
The second generation combi-bracelet is great.
Even though the G-Shocks are objectively better, I still end up going with the F-91W most days.
(set all of my clocks against my G-Shock because multi band 6)
Also, I agree that the 5610 is the nicest one to look at.
I really like the nod to the original G-Shock color palette.
It's obsessive functionality and indifference to style has a charm to it.
(I think today will be a G-Shock day)

I'm saving up for a good mechanical.
I know I could pick up something very decent for a couple hundred bucks.
The Hamilton Murph 38 is very near what I like.
I prefer smaller "classic" sizes to the newer 40mm trends.
Ideally, I would get a 34mm with an 18mm band width, no day, no date, three hander.
The markets mostly have odd sizes and date complications.
Close to what I like, though not really what I want.
Until I find exactly what I want I'm holding off.
I'll just save money and then probably pick up an oyster perpetual.
I'm not really interested in anything too flashy or cool.
I only want a durable and accurate watch that will last.
Also, yes, those LARPy pics were a direct reference to Romanian anon.
And, yes, those are some of the watches I own.
Anyone can post pics of watches and say things.
For now I will enjoy my little beaters because I actually do like them.

The case is almost certainly Seiko. The dial looks off, the markers look correct at first but they look flat, like they were printed, i don't think Seiko did printed markers like that. The minute markers are misaligned too, and the date border doesn't instill much confidence either. The dial is probably repainted. Date wheel looks correct. Not sure about the crown.
If the seller is from India do not buy. Probably best idea to not buy. I do like the case, it looks to be in good condition, if you can be bothered to find an original dial for it then buy it, otherwise not.

You kind of sent me down a rabbit hole... found this really cool Pinterest board of Australian Army issued watches throughout history...
https://www.pinterest.com.au/kenpatterson59/australian-military-issued-watches/

I found one regulation in the Army Dress Manual...

2.53 Watches or watch bands are not to be worn when they may create a safety
hazard. Brightly coloured watches or watch bands are not permitted. Pocket watches
with visible chains are not to be worn with the Australian Army uniform. On a
ceremonial parade a watch is not to be worn by any member, except the senior soldier controlling the sequence of a parade; normally the RSM or CSM (E) who may
wear an inconspicuous timepiece.

In case anyone wanted to know, the import duty was approx. $200, the waybill listed the value as approx. $1750 (it matched what I actually paid)

Current US MSRP is $2200, and I have read that GS doesn't discount ever, so with tax I would have paid about $2400 at a GS store

So I saved almost $500, in return for not being permitted into el club des grandes cebollas estadounidenses, and having to wait 4 days, and send it to japan if I have issues or pay out of pocket for a local service. I probably wouldn't have considered that savings worthwhile if I was dealing with some rando from chrono24 but it's seiya, he has a good reputation. Also it's quartz, there's not much that can go wrong

The other hidden cost is I paid $25 for a wera 1.2mm flathead screwdriver, and $9 for loctite 222, and the boutique would have sized it for me. If you're a real watch guy(tm) you'd already own this stuff so that wouldn't count

Imma let you all in on a little secret, I'm working on a /wt/ Diver Watch infographic and this is the blurb I have for the Pagani:

> Pagani Design Whatever - It's 2AM, and you're awakened by the sound of your kitchen appliances talking to you again. Fumbling your way through your government-funded, cigarette-smelling apartment, the microwave gives you your latest orders - you must infiltrate the international time-travelling Hollywood lizard pedophile sex party occuring in the basement of the local Little Caesar's pizzeria 24 hours from now and expose them to the world. You'll need a watch to help you blend in Hitman-style with the wealthy elites in attendance, but there's a problem - besides the short notice, your budget is three loosies, and $8 of food stamps in a chain wallet. This is where Pagani Design comes in. The world leaders in being cheating frauds, "Pagani" is ""proudly"" based in the """"People's Republic"""" of China. Their catalog has too many goddamn models to list and they're nearly 100% blatant copies of specific luxury watches. If you need to fake wealth and don't mind funding Xiughur genocide and the future* invasion of Taiwan, these are actually relatively solid watches on a budget.

It honestly is, having a conventional shaped watch is too manly and too functional for some women, they want jewelry that also tells the time and this rectangular shape fits the contours of the strap to ultimately give it the appearance of a bracelet rather than that of a watch.

Think about it, this is an old watch design, back when there was no such thing as unisex in fashion and conventional watches were marketed as something manly and tool-like for men, women need to tell the time as well but fashionable women didn't want a watch that looks like something advertised to labourers and explorers, so these slim rectangular designs were made to avoid looking too much like a watch. This specific version with no indices just furthers the distance between this as a piece of feminine jewelry and a practical tool for men.

That is a girls' watch.

Do you not understand what marketing is? Regardless of whether their utility is required, watches for men are still marketed as a gentleman's practical yet sophisticated tool and designed accordingly.
