I'd say skip it. My suggestion is always going to a store and just smelling some caps, if you find something you like get a spray on your wrist from the tester and judge it over time. It all depends on the amount of money you want to spend on a fragrance. Sauvage Elixir is basically one of the higher priced designer fragrances and Dior tends to put out some quality, as a result you got something very good already. My preferred designer frag houses are Dior, Chanel and Guerlain, as there seems to be quite the correlation between having an in-house perfumer and putting out quality fragrances.

Notino.de is often only cheaper if you enter through idealo.de (need to disable tracking token strippers for that, though). In general you should compare prices through idealo.de, geizhals.de, billiger.de and set price alerts (if a frag goes below what you're willing to pay) and set up alerts on mydealz.de to find deals which can not necessarily be tracked by the price comparison websites, due to weird coupon codes or whatever. I've never bought a fragrance at full price. All you have to do is find something you like and then set up your alerts and wait. Opening smelled like someone peed into my bottle of Dior Homme Parfum. The drydown is getting better and better, though, but it might not reach DHP levels of balance and quality. Overall pretty good, like a dated version of DHP. Surprised to see people on fragrantica compare it to Zino, then again that website is useless and filled with broken noses.

Guerlain L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme EdP:
I always thought Layton was an amped up vanilla version of Boss Bottled/Boss Bottled Intense (the OG Intense), but if you take LIDGPH and pour vanilla and sugar into it, you'd get Layton. This is the spices from Layton with a bit more citrus and cacao and that shit ton of vanilla stripped from it. I actually like the sillage of this stuff way more, probably because it smells more grown up and more masculine. Layton was the only frag where someone ever asked if I was wearing a women's perfume and I don't think this would happen with this stuff.

Kenzo EDT Intense just came in the mail, I got it because of the comparisons to BI. I really needed a tropical/beachy fruity scent like this, it smells really good bros. Not getting the "pickle" thing that some reviewers mentioned, but for a couple of seconds there was a small resemblance to Santal 33 in the opening. I can see why some people are comparing it to BI but for me BI is more of a wispy, sparkling woods whereas Kenzo is a dense fruity woods. Honestly kind of reminds me more of Chrome Legend in that it's ostensibly an "aquatic" but it's rich and thick with fruitiness instead of "watery"

Those notes were from spraying it in the air, I just put on 3 sprays and I actually love it now. Yeah, if someone were looking for a modern deep thick "blue" fragrance I would point them to this instead of BdC or Dylan Blue. This has a wonderful sandalwood richness to it that I don't think any other modern "blue" scent deals with. Not smelling any ambroxan either, the frag feels like it's waves in motion switching between that melon-fig-calypsone fruity accord and the sandalwood/akigalawood.
