How would you upgrade this fit? And where could I cop a shirt and jacket similar to that one?

>> No.17366295

Take a trip to normiemart at your local normieville and you too can look like a normie.

Wear the boots so they don't look brand new. These look like they have a plasticy paint on them but it might just be an unflattering photo. Rougher looking shoes would be better.

>And where could I cop a shirt and jacket similar to that one?
Orvis would be an easy place to get all this. LL Bean if you want to spend less. Online stores like Huckberry/Blue Owl/Stag Provisions if you want to spend more.

Any jackets like that for a poor eurofag like me? (I have the money tho, but I just don't want to spend 800 euros in a jacket right now because I'm lacking a lot of basic stuff, and just recently started working in a decent job)

Those are not my boots tho, I have some meermins. Not high end or anything but look pretty nice.

Field jacket in black. Literally an M65 without the epaulettes.
Very basic bitch.

And I really don't like the one posted since it doesn't have snaps. I love snap closure. Much faster than fucking with a zipper and breaths better.

If you're trying to go for the traditional heritage look, stay away from synthetic materials such as that in the jacket. It looks fucking gay, its not going to be durable at all, and is not going to last through the eb and flow of fashion trends. I would instead suggest wearing something like a heavy denim or a waxed canvas jacket. These will appear more timeless and will actually serve as a durable, weatherproof layer. Also, those boots are hideous and look as though they are made of some shitty synthetic leather. If you have a decent income, definitely invest in a real pair of boots (Whites, Wesco, Viberg) that are going to last for your entire life.

And OP isn't to some degree? I work on construction sites and have my own separate work clothing that I tear up onsite, but also see it as worth investing money into higher quality durable workwear for home use. I hate to break it to you, but jeans and flannels haver traditionally been considered workwear. The only real difference is that purchasing shitty quality "workwear" is only going to give you an outfit that looks subpar AND is not actually going to be durable.

>>17370628
Yeah, workwear for the yee haw cowboy era that is. Also it depends on what you're doing, there's a shitload of jobs that you can't yee haw, Carhatt cowboy.

I really don't understand what point you're trying to make. Are you trying to say that its not worth investing a larger amount of money into something that is made with higher structural integrity and heavier weight fabric that will actually last for your entire life? I'm trying to say that it is worth it and you seem to not really be proving a good, relevant counter argument

>> No.17370653

>>17370646
My point is that not everything needs to be a muh durability contest and most day to day clothing from non-specialized brands is fine for almost anything you're going to do.
>Are you trying to say that its not worth investing a larger amount of money into something that is made with higher structural integrity and heavier weight fabric that will actually last for your entire life?
What you suggested is vastly different from the style he desires and most clothes in that style are quite durable.

Op here, to be honest I really like the jacket you posted, where is it from?

It really is different from the one I posted initially , but I don't care , looks awesome.

I have a good pair of boots, not vibergs (meermin) but they look good and are decent quality that are carrying me through the winter at work and when I go out .
