I got into Rosen-x recently, thinking about grabbing some enfin leve pants after my move to Shanghai

>>17280874

>>17280876
great combo desu and really good silhouette, I don't mind the shoes breaking up the monochromatic, actually adds to it

>>17280872
decent fit but needs something to work with that bag, it's quite dominant, also a bit unsure about the boots

>>17280878
I see lots of cyberpunk related threads, lets wait for io get colder to see what people will wear, I feel there will be a lot of military-inspired outfits with he conflict in the ukraine being so dominantly displayed in the media. I can already see people switching color schemes to a more army palette here in Berlin

i've personally never been a fan of rosen-x after seeing some of the photos people posted on the discord and in here of fucked up stitching, quality seems to be really hit or miss imo, same with the designs (but then again, the same goes for enfin leve, guerilla group, acronym etc.). but when the silhouette is on point, it is ON POINT.

>>17280906
>decent fit but needs something to work with that bag, it's quite dominant, also a bit unsure about the boots
i love the boots, imo they really add to the military feel of the fit. wouldn't have worked with either high or low top sneakers imo.
but yeah, maybe something like danner's, nike sfb field 2 or the visvim 7 hole boots would've looked better. or even something like pic related with the spikes to add even more edge haha

Recently copped the ACG Alpine in black (not my photo) - great jacket but the collar is kind of awkward, if you are in any conditions other than snowy cold day the funnel neck looks like of anime cosplay and if you unzip it the front of the collar flops around a lot. Anyone else have the jacket and figure out a less awkward way to wear it in milder temperatures? Or you just avoid it and go for something like a bomber?

>> No.17281082

>>17281034
Theres a /fa/ discord? Yea i heard rumors, cant really complain so far, I think they switched tailors

Those shoes are interesting, i wonder if the spikes would be a hindrance though, maybe straight up military surplus boots would work

i used to own both the acg alpine and the j43a but i sold both for exactly that reason. the collar looks dope in photos (well, to me at least) but it's completely useless. if you're wearing it down, you can't wear any earbuds, because the collar will push them out. if you wear the hood up, you won't hear or see shit and will have to '89 batman stiff neck your way through the world. and it will never look as well as in product shots because the hood/collar never holds the shape.

Asking here because I like the style, and maybe one of you know something. Pretty much all the boots/shoes in tech outfits in these insta and promo photos are for summer and early autumn seasons. Do cool looking boots for winter even exist? I mean something that's comfortable and warm in freezing temps and ankle-high snow?
I use mountain hiking boots for local climate and because I can get nice prices on those, but would be nice to get something less hiker-core.

Autism = soul
Autism = love

Autism is the only thing that makes society progress.
All goodness is autism.
All fun is autism.

Cyberpunk is pure autism and that’s good.

Death = non-autism

Lets have a solar-punk cyber-punk genetic-punk hippy-punk anime-punk deco-punk autism-punk perfect-true-heaven-for-all true-utopia and become immortal almighty pure-autism gods.

17284380

Genetic engineering simply is the way.

Only people who fetishize their own mortality would oppose it. People who want to eventually die shouldn’t control society. It is wrong for mortals to hold back immortals. If people want to die, then they can die. There’s no right in holding autistic/soulful people back from loving the infinite multiverses of love for eternity.

>should I buy

i don't think there's a blanket statement for whether you should buy it. it's a very definite " it depends".
like i wouldn't recommend the j87-ws if it is your first acronym piece and i wouldn't recommend acronym as your first more expensive fashion purchase either. if money isn't an issue and you already have a sense of fashion, style, proportions etc, i'd say it then depends on where you live/what climate you move in. i've personally used my j87 as a "doing anything in the rain"-jacket, but it's not warm on its own (so living in london you might be fine, but if you were in finland i'd say go for an insulated jacket instead).

>Interesting, why not?
let me retract a bit. i wouldn't recommend acronym as your first more expensive fashion purchase because the higher price and the promise of "better function" are things that set unreasonable expectations for a piece of clothing in my opinion.
in the end, even something like the j87 is "just a jacket". yes, it's made from maybe more expensive and "better performing" material with a lot of useful functions that your typical 200€ mall rainjacket won't have and it might look a lot cooler than one too (subjective, i know, but ultimately it's the style that draws me personally to acronym, not necessarily the function), but it is just a jacket.
at the risk of this being a "not your personal blogpost"-post, i started my fashion journey with streetwear, got into rick owens and yohji and other more "luxury avantgarde stuff" and now am all in into acronym. but i feel like having bought expensive rick jackets kind of levels your expectations for what a jacket should or can do for you. and having gone through a bit of fashion stuff will hopefully mean you have a better understanding of how clothes fit you and what proportions work for you.
but then again the good thing about acronym or other luxury brands is that you can almost always without a fault simply resell your stuff should you not be happy with it at no loss. life time free repair is also very neat and something i've found useful in the past 10 years. but yeah, that would be my perspective

>> No.17304693

>>17304655
Fascinating, does make sense. I did begin to not even look at clothing under $100 but acronym is a bigger jump no doubt. Maybe I'm not there yet and looking at the jacket I'm starting to dislike it, your pics are amazing but in the video I posted above it's a bit too avantgarde for me (20yo zoomie who simply likes dangely things and straps). Didn't know about it essentially being a money deposit though, you only lose if you keep the jacket basically lol.
If you or anyone has good recommendations for something more toned down in the same style as your image (no the actual jacked) pls post. I'm very desperate to get a jacked one asap.

It apparently is from the 90s/80s, which I only found out after googling the "camel travel" line it was sold in back then, can not find any info on this specific jacket though. It came in great condition and the design is mostly neutral branding-wise (I hate those giant logos on clothing). The one whitepill I can see is that people care less and less about muh racism and muh homophobia. Measuring everything in those terms has degenerated our culture so much over the years and whenever I hear people say it I just can't help but not give a shit about it anymore.

If you want to beat up real truly bad “fascist pedos” then go beat up Israel

Not into your soulless world and soullessness. I feel you’re just scared of good fashion and people with souls

Unimaginable to think someone would be that bad of a wad but you seem like it. After all Israel seems to put effort into harming Palestinian soul and beauty so it doesn’t surprise me that Israelis on 4chan try to attack everything soulful and good in other countries

If it’s true that you do, that’s unacceptable.
You have less right to exist than any of the unfortunate livestock we eat.

The world is forever soulful, good, and beautiful. And the story has just begun.

For techwear in clothes, line pockets with foil to make faraday cages to kill phone signal, which is important for privacy. Phones never really "turn off", so keeping it in a faraday cage is the 3rd best option after removing the battery and not owning a phone at all. You can also use them to shoplift if that's your thing, although it's a well known trick so there might be mitigations. Make sure to test it before using obviously.

As for facial recognition and identification, it depends whether you want to be inconspicuous to humans too. Corona-chan blessed us by normalising face masks, which are a great way to half the data points for identification (although recognition is probably just as easy). You could line that with foil too if you want to hide your jaw from thermal cameras. Hell, line your hat with foil even, it can't hurt. A brimmed hat is a good inconspicuous anti-camera layer.

>> No.17319133

>>17319117
Face ID relies on landmarks like jawbones and edges of eyes, so makeup that alters those or breaks symmetry could help.
I'd guess that body recognition is a thing too, in which case you could try stuff that breaks the shape of the body like a cloak/cape, or anything asymmetrical. Basically you want to find a way to balance grey man with urban ghillie suit.

They make it to your specifications, really worth it desu, Gracia has been doing this stuff for a while and the ones I had made fit me perfectly. You can probably just hit up Rosens email to get some advice regarding the correct measurements. Wish more techwear brands would do this, it assures that it fits more people than just the ideal skinny asian type.

Aeon probably looks real good if you're not that tall or are of slender built

I'd say they're "ok" at best. I've had mine for about 1.5 years and after about 6 months both inner heals and the bend points on the outside delaminated. I also had a really weird smell problem. They got completely wet and they had an ungodly stench to them for about 4 months causing my feet to stink as well (I don't have foot odor problems). The smell problem went away after I stopped wearing them for about a month. It was so bad that I couldn't drive my car wearing them and I kept them in front of my house door because of the smell.

That being said after a short break in period they are quite comfortable, and the soles are pretty tough, they've saved me from getting a nail or two through the foot. I wear them around my shop and they've come into contact with oils and solvents and stood up to them well, and they don't get too slippy when the floor is oily. I've also done quite a bit of light to medium hiking in them, they do well there too.

All in all it's an ok shoe. I don't think I'll be getting another pair of these after they're done for though. I'm looking at the Viktos Overbeach Sneaker now.
