My uncle buys all his clothes from salvation army. No one has told him what 'FUBU' means. He literally just tries to match. He'll wear like teal cordoroys (I can't spell it fuck you) with a teal sweatshirt that says fubu and a san jose sharks hat because the colors relatively match. Lots of times the clothes look old or worn. It SCREAMS white trash. You guys are talking about like fashionable white trash, but the key to actually looking seriously trashy and being low class is to shop at the old thrift stores unironically. You have to get into the mindset of a scumbag. You can't really fake it.

Obviously you can't pinpoint one specific trend within trashy fashion that makes it trashy, but I think specifically with what that guy is wearing he's attempting to give off a certain level of "I'm a badass" while simultaneously trying to look like he doesn't give a fuck while he clearly does. Weirdly enough thing would be a perfectly fine outfit on a black dude, I wouldn't think twice and wouldn't think it looks either bad or good, but when white people adopt black things in fashion then its cringe other than certain things.
