Boot General - ALL LEATHER NO FILLER Edition

What do I need to care for my boots?
>Old cotton t shirt (one for cleaning, another for applying conditioners)
>Horsehair brush ($10-15)
>Wooden shoe trees ($10-15)
>Light conditioner like Lexol/Bck4
>Heavy conditioner (if you live in terrible snow/rain areas) Sno seal/Obernauf LP

How do I deal with x stain?
>mud: allow it to dry then brush off
>salt: water and cloth as soon as possible
>saturated wet: allow the boot to dry for a full day, stuff with newspaper
>scuffs and scratches: buff vigorously with horsehair brush

>Should I buy turdsdays/soloshits/doc shitans?
no
>b-b-but muh ecelebs on youtube said they're good
no. you will waste your time and money and still have uncomfortable footwear at the end of the day. spend the extra $100 and get something real.

Is there a single piece construction leather boot that has a zero drop sole, but a goodyear welt (or similar) in a relatively thin and flexible leather?

Im basically looking for a modern day moccasin that has barefoot shoe principles but isn't so goofy looking that it cant be employed the same way your average leather heritage boot is.

he saying it should just be a straight veg tan insole no insert. it seems like a small detail but once you've experienced it you dont really want to go back. its firm and cushioning at the same time and molds to your foot. rubbers and foams dont behave the same and depending on the material it can compress by midday at which point you have no cushioning

your argument seems to be based on the ancient Ship of Theseus problem, where Theseus' ship has sailed around the world for many years and has had each individual part of it damaged and replaced at some point in time. After all of these repairs, is it still the same ship?
However unlike your mop, the problem isn't meant to have a definitive answer. It's meant to examine your preconceptions and their consequences.

Right now Ive only found women's doc martins 1b60 and men's solovair 20 eye, which I'll buy one of if I can't find something of similar quality in a different color (they're both black)
But ideally if solovair had a 20 eye/knee high version of their oxblood 14 eye (https://us.nps-solovair.com/collections/mens/products/gf14-1140-ox)), I would buy those.

I'm looking for two pairs of new boots.

First pair is standard everyday boot, brown or black, full leather, smooth, suede, tumbled, anything that goes, bonus for Vibram sole.
Nothing special, just your everyday lace up boot for jeans and such.

Second may sound retarded but can I wear somewhat more classy boots with a suit? Maybe black smooth calf leather?
If this isn't a total no go I need a suitable boot for mid/dark grey/blue suits, an allrounder for cold day/region business trips.

Budget doesn't matter but problem is EU/Germany as location so preferred nothing I have to import myself and can't return in case I have to.
Only manufacturer I know that seems a decent option is Velasca, anyone got experience with them?
I'd like to buy local brands like Lowa but they have moved away from leather lining and only over ogretex plastic bags now...
Any tips really appreciated. I don't want to buy garbage chinkshit with dogleather from Nike or whatever.
