How the fuck do I get my wool shirt to stop being so itchy. I have a pendleton one which is fine so long as I wear a long sleeve base layer but my woolrich one is heavier and is unbearable to wear.

Do I brush it or use some kind of conditioner? I admit that functionally wool is better but cotton seems far more comfortable (and cheaper). Help?

How does merino wool compare to normal wool in terms of scratchiness and warmth? Looking at copping a couple of sweaters or cardigans, but I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I've stuck with cotton up to this point. Where I live, the climate is subtropical but it still gets a bit cold later in the year.

I'm ultra sensitive to clothing,I HATE scratchy shit. While merino is much more east going, I would say it's not that simple. You have to wear, try and experience.
