Is there an homage or mod watch that gets close to the Seiko SKX015? I want a 38mm diver with pepsi band and specifically like the SKX indices and hands design, lack of cyclops but still date (day doesn't matter but I don't mind it), and minimal amount of text on the dial.

/wt/ I NEED YOUR HELP!
First week on my new office job in NYC, I NEED a watch I can take to the office that will impress normie coworkers and Stacy receptionist. Can’t be an Apple Watch, all the interns wearing that. Can’t afford a Rolex yet either. What whatch will these normies respect? So far I’ve spotted: 4 rolex dj, 2 subs, 1 ladies Cartier, 1 ladies dj, 1 omega (it’s tiny, don’t know what it is but looks like a knocoff Rolex Cellini) 2 AP (one of them is boss), a cartier tank (or a must?) and a really nice watch with Hispanic name (I think) on an ostrich strap. Oh and an invicta but they don’t make fun of it because a black guy wears it. I think.

Here's the real question: why are Gshocks all overpriced as fuck in britbongland and europe.
Average model is around £100 and while sure they're rugged enough to get run over by a truck that's still two and a half times the price of getting one in the US.
I see cheaper alternatives from unheard of brands I reflexively assume are cheap knockoff shit on Amazon, but retarded as you all are I have to wonder if there isn't other eurofags in here who have had the same issues and actually do know of alternatives.

I like the Ironman. Thing is Gshocks have an autistic fan base and casio knows they have an autistic fan base that will snap up every variation of Gshock they make just like a fat kid getting chips at a grocery store.

The Ironman is good, the displays have much better digits and indiglo backlighting is goat. Even the basic 30 lap has features you only see on premium Gshocks. Buttons are also really easy to press, especially the lap button and it's only 38 mm.

Downsides are that it's not solar and there's no sync. Also if you press a button under water it'll get fucked up even though it's 100M. And Timex gives basically 0 shits about them, so it's hard to look at models on Timex's site. But they are priced like shitters so they're $20-50

You clearly don't understand women psychology.
Women are weaker than men and bear children. Their natural instinct tell them to be attracted by men who can protect them and provide for them. That's why women like strong guys or rich guys.
Wearing an expensive watch (like a Rolex) is a way of signaling women your fridge will never be empty.

Annnnd, the ugly peak 70's retro futuristic frontside of it now it's reassembled. The dial in it is in amazing condition, but the crystal is scratched to shit. >hurrr niggers are wearing Rolex
You know what, I hate nigs as much as anyone else here, but you well manered domesticated faggots fail to understand something about them : nigs are basically a more bestial version of ourselves. They are less refined, a lot more primitive in their relationships. If you observe their mating rituals, you'll notice the females are straight up attracted by the males with the more wealth. It's that simple. And no, whites are no different.
You may find it tasteless, but an ugly nig with a huge tacky golden Rolex will always be more successful with women than you, whether you wear a white gold ALS Datograph or a plastic G-Shock.

This was basically my point in this post >>17084606
Rolex is the only way to go because women only know Rolex.
Truth is, you don't need a watch. So might as well be the only brand that trully matters.

Holy shit, that's a super rad digital collection.
>can't use the "knife" on cheap watches
What type of knife are you using to try and open your watches? I've found that those cheap ebay watch knives with the red or yellow handles are shit and slip way too easily, so I just use a cheap folding knife I got as a gift years ago. Seems to work every time, and I haven't cut myself with it (yet) but I have cut myself with eBay watch knives.
>can't use the tripod tool to open my tissot either
Those tripod tools are also very hit and miss, if you get a good or decent quality one I hear they're actually pretty good, but all of my tools are cheap shit for the mostpart and I just make do with them. What kind of caseback does your Tissot have exactly? I've found that the two pronged tools often work way better for screw down casebacks than the three prongs for whatever reason.
>went to the watchmaker with my tail between the legs
0 shame in this, I do the same thing myself for 99% of shit I own. I only attempt repairs on shit that'd be uneconomical to pay an actual watchmaker to repair for me and I don't mind fucking up in the worst case scenario.

Which Tissot do you have BTW? Just curious. I own a 35mm PRX, the Seastar I showed above, and the watch the new PRX was inspired by (but it's fucked and needs repairing).

Oh man, that's the exact toolkit I got years back when I first got into this autism, it comes with some super blunt tweezers and a little plastic rectangular thing with all of the bits for the caseback tool in it, right? I absolutely destroyed a busted quartz Lorus with one of these like 10+ years ago, lol.
>really liking your tissots btw, almost bought one like this when i first got into watches but i think they're small for today's standards? never saw one irl
Thanks man, they range from 34 - 37mm aprox, so they work well for pretty much every wrist size IMO. I do have skeleton wrists mind you, so anything above 36mm is pushing it for me. I'd honestly give a smaller watch a try sometime if you're used to larger stuff btw, they can be a nice change up from what you're used to and they're mad comfy on warmer days where you want something a little less bulky to wear.
>in the end i fell in love with the one i have because of a pic i found online (pic rel) and found one for 150 € + 50 € for handmade italian leather
Looks really really nice on the leather from what I can see from the back in that first pic, and oddly enough, even though I'm not a huge fan of NATO's on my own watches, something about it looks really nice in that pic you took. I think it's probably the second hands matching up with the centre stripe that really just werks. Nice watch man, I can see why you fell in love with it, looks great, but probably 2big4me.
>one of the few relatively expensive things i bought that i don't regret
