How much did you pay? From what I understand "servicing" a Seiko literally means opening the case, removing the old movement and dropping a brand new replacement in, because the movements themselves are relatively cheap compared to the hourly cost of an experienced watch repairer. Do you want an serious answer?

Because for at least half the posters here, this general is just a willy-wagging thread as to who can spend the most money and, if anyone actually posts a nice watch, they then tear them down out of a sense of bored sadism. (If it's not a Rolex, it should be a Rolex. If it is a Rolex, the poster has NPC taste.)
People who actually post nice watches also rarely talk shit about others' watches. People who don't have nice watches can still participate in tearing others down.

If something is broken, they won't bother replacing any specific part, they just replace the movement, but a Seiko automatic can still be serviced. You take it apart, drop all the pieces in the ultrasonic, reassemble and lubricate. You don't actually need to adjust the rate most times.

Thought about doing it myself. Those movements have become more expensive and all in all (tools, movement) it would probably cost more than giving it to someone (not seiko) to have it fixed. Order is the barrier that holds back the flood of death. We must all of us on this train of life remain in our allotted station. We must each of us occupy our preordained particular position. Would you wear a Rolex as a cuck? Of course you wouldn't wear a Rolex as a cuck. A Rolex doesn't belong to a cuck. An Omega belongs to a cuck. A Rolex belongs to a chad. I am a chad. You are a cuck. Rolex belongs to me. Omega belongs to you. Yes? So it is. In the beginning, order was proscribed by your ticket: First Class, Economy, and freeloaders like you. Eternal order is prescribed by the sacred engine: all things flow from the sacred engine, all things in their place, all passengers in their section, all water flowing. all heat rising, pays homage to the sacred engine, in its own particular preordained position. So it is. Now, as in the beginning, I fuck the pussy. You jerkoff on the side. When the cuck seeks the place of the chad, the sacred line is crossed. Know your place. Keep your place.

The Daytona is a lot more recent than the Explorer and the DJ, which have been around for 70 years and are absolute iconic watches.
The new models don't even look like Rolex. The fat indices make no sense on a chrono. Whoever came up with that design deserves a bullet in the head.
Honestly if I had the chance to buy one at MSRP, I would flip it on C24 to some retard who consider it the greatest watch ever made and I would buy a Daydate or a Pepsi.

I thought the villains were cool and Hank was one of the best characters to ever be on TV. Whether I said that because he wears a G-Shock is not for me to decide. The main duo was hit or miss. I thought Pinkman had moments of brilliance and so did Walter but at other times they were very developmentally stunted and directionless. Like they didn't know where to take the characters or what to do with them. The auxiliary cast was stellar and the setting was refreshing. Like many "great" shows they do a good job at serializing but fail at conclusions and like those shows the ending was weak, disappointing, and cheap. I like that the show got serious but was also fantastical and cartoonish. Sometimes the farce fell flat and took you out of the show. I know that is subjective and some people love a farce. I think it's cool that it had cryptic and hidden messages but I was not interested enough to follow through. It's a good feeling when you feel there is more to media if you care to follow it. It makes it feel rich and multidimensional. There isn't a single good female character, they should have just Shawshanked it. 8 minerals out of 10, above average.

I think they are acceptable. You hear that complaint a lot from boomers who are actually the main costumers for G-Shock. Boomers complain that even putting the watch up against their ear they can't hear the watch. I have measured the decibels using my phone, not the most accurate, and it's the equivalent of street traffic. If you can't hear your G-Shock, you have a serious hearing issue. The other thing is that it's high pitched which is an issue for older people. It doesn't help that each model has different loudness. The myth are false however, solars and screwbacks don't have weaker alarms. The loudest model I have is my solar screwback frogman. I think every model is different. Nobody does any consistent testing so the only way to know for sure is to experience it. Whether it can wake you up or not depends more on you and your sleep habits than the watch. It can wake me unless my arms end up under me or under the covers when it goes off. If it's next to my ear it's too loud. It's not reliable. If you need it there are some models that have vibration alarms.
