Paying for a G-5600 the same as the price of a GW-M5610 is a bad deal. The G-5600 retails for about $50 less. I know the GW-M5610 is always on sale and the G-5600 is hard to find at the moment outside Japan but the products are different regardless of the current situation affecting the price. I know you are being retarded about the red accents and want a subtle watch but I think you are going to regret pinching pennies. I would either go with a DW-5600 or save up for something else. Thanks, I bought the Seamaster on the bracelet but I wish I hadn’t, I think I’ll probably keep it on the rubber for good. I am moving up a tier in watches.

I have narrowed it down to a Grand Seiko snowflake (or maybe just get one with a black face) or a Tudor BB58. I dont give a shit about your opinions on these brands or watches.

I just cant choose the style I want as my more premium watch. I loved wearing my sarb every day which is whats got me interested in a GS but the GS are very polished and appear to be too dressy for an everyday wear (I always dress very casually these days and work is usually chinos and a polo)

The GS is somewhat polished but it really isn't too dressy. Iirc the actual shine-polished parts of the case is just the bezel and a thin line on the sides of the case.
Depending on what you actually do I might still recommend the Tudor, not at all in terms of style but more because the Tudor can just take more of a beating. But if you're just going to the office the GS is more than fine.

I'm in the exact same situation. Planning on getting either the SBGX261 or the BB58 but really can't decide, my SARB033 is my favourite everyday watch and suits my dress style at work, but the SBGX feels slightly more dressy, and that puts me off, plus I tried on the white dial version and it didn't excite me. Whereas I only own a Amphibia, so don't wear a diver very often, but the BB58 really impressed me when I tried it for size. My other issue is that the watch needs to be a sub 40mm case, which rules out any alternative Grand Seiko.

I would not upgrade the G-Shock with an MRG. It's better to have at least one watch that you don't feel bad about potentially trashing. Even if you convince yourself "It's still a tough G-Shock" you'll still wince every time you put a ding or scratch in the case or bracelet. Whereas with a normal G-Shock, if you really trash the bezel/bracelet, you can replace them with factory original parts for cheap and the watch looks brand new again.

Get the classic square, ga2100 if you like ana digi layouts. Both are fairly customizable so if you get bored of it as it is you can change the color of the bezel and straps or put a metal bezel on it. I got a 5610, it's pretty alright, I'm satisfied with it. I got lucky and bought it before they fucked it up and change the EL backlight to a shitty LED. There's some anon who has an autistic hate for the 5610 compared to the 5600 and 5000 because the cape shape is a little different. I think he's exaggerating but if I could do it again I would have found a 5600 module with tough solar and multiband 6 iver a 5610. Alternatively you can go the classic gshock route and get something nice and bright, like a ga2200 shockwave with the jellybean red

Just get the DW5600 or the GWM5610 depending on what you want and where you live. If you live in North America/Europe/Asia then multiband is technologically interesting, and solar power is pretty nifty too. The DW5600 is the classic no frills G-Shock, but solar and multiband really activates my almonds.
(I upgraded my GWM5610 for a GW5000, but I stand by my point, don't get a metal G-Shock, they're missing the point of what a G-Shock should be)
