Moving into a 600 sq ft studio apartment and need effay interior inspo. Effay interiors in general but bonus for studio interiors

i hate interior inspo threads where half the images are just absurdly beautiful spaces. who tf lives with stained glass windows like that.

>> No.16018690

Just face it OP, you won't find anything you like, and you'll just end up with plain white walls with shitty furniture and a bunch of plants. Your apartment will be soulless, uncomfortable, and you'll be ashamed to post it in interior threads. Everyone has their own idea of what a good living room is - some think having the bare minimum is fashionable, some think all white with plants is fashionable, some think 1980s style is fashionable - but what do you like? Last thing I will say is, having that many plants just says to me that you are shit at decorating. For inspo just google living rooms from a time period you like, and base your purchases off that.

on the contrary, i hate interior inspo threads where you faggots spam pictures of a matress and some books thrown on the floor, plants by the window and white walls. that's not effay or "minimal" it's just poorfag laziness
>>16018690
this is realistic and pretty redpilled. to a point though it's understandable. why spend money on good furniture to fit in a space you're going to move out of in a year or two? we should have a separate thread for home owners

>> No.16019033

It's a weird feeling seeing your own apartment being used for a thread starter.

Also moving furniture isn't expensive

I get what you mean

It's nice seeing all these old buildings and apartments from a time when people cared how things look

That said, the place I rent has flat white walls, no trim no nooks or crannies, and a gigantic fucking glass sliding door. It's a sterile box by default and that makes it harder to look visually interesting without owning a million wall hangings and shelves

have you not set foot into a hardware store in the past 20 years?

What do you expect in inspo threads? It's in the fucking name: inspiration. Looking at an ugly room with a matress on the floor is not inspiring at all but there's a lot to be inspired by looking at the "best case" examples.

Translation: I'm somewhat approaching cost-of-living and I just moved out of my parent's basement. How can I transform my grungy, dimmy-lit garden level utility closet into something a little less...rapey? Just inspire my shallow, viably empty personality to make a commitment in an IKEA catalog.

Also, don't post your selfies for validation on a website full of trolls.
First, you will be automatically compared iwth ideal proportions and you can't win there.
Second, you have to be a skillful photographer for this purpose.
If you feel you look good, avoid posting a selfie on the internet. Believe in yourself.

yeah that's probably the kind of bullshit you need to tell yourself with that face.
