anyone have experience with wearing shoes (non-sneakers) that are 1-2 euro sizes too big?

I have some boots that are 1 size up and they're not great to wear. been meaning to get some thick socks to wear them with -- any suggestions? now I see some oxfords in the same size that I know will sell soon, not sure if I should shell out the $ if they'll be unwearable

How do I coordinate sneaker/footwear colors with the rest of my outfit? If I have an olive hat and a green/blue plaid shirt, do I need some olive colored sneakers to really complete the outfit or can I just get away with some black Chucks or Old Skools?

This is exactly what I've been doing since the start of the year and I've lost around 18 lbs. Counting calories works. It also helps to have some low calorie snacks to fight your food cravings off. Sugar free popsicles are my favorite. You can snack on 4-5 of them a day if you want and they'll barely make a dent on your calories total per day because they're only 20 calories a pop.

For colors in outfits, some general rules that i follow are:
-No more than 2-3 main colors
-No more than two pieces of clothing of the same shade or color, you can have accents to a certain extent (a small accessory or a small stripe matching something else)
-For the rest, complete with black or white accordingly
-Most of all, DONT OVERTHINK IT. If you focus too much on matching, it will not look good or natural. Look at pic related, it's horrible. He focused too much on making the outfit match that he forgot to make anything else about the outfit interesting.
Mind you this is not a set rule that everyone follows, this is just something that I've noticed that works with my style and my wardrobe (mostly black and white with some earth tones or very dark colors)

what should i pair with these/what pants should i wear for spring & summer? my style is very dependent on cold weather (lots of wool trousers) and i hate shorts. i'm leaning towards darker jeans at the moment but i'm not sure.

pretty quickly depending on your frame. but don't worry about it too much. get to where you're happy with your body, then worry about what you put on it
>>15980915
it really boils down to what you like and trial and error. posting yourself, even if you know what you're doing, will lead to nothing helpful from /fa/

Is there anywhere you would recommend posting for critique and recommendations? I have a few friends who would be willing to do fit checks for me but I don't wanna constantly ask them to check my clothes out while I'm still really unsure of what I'm doing.

you can very occasionally get actual advice here, but even then it may not be what you want. i'd say reddit but they arguably dress worse than we do. they'll still be your best bet for actual criticism and recommendations.

i should add just for learning the basics and understanding silhouettes and color matching, etc. etc.

Yeah, I am gonna try some shit cause I definitely don't wanna dress outside of my class (poor working class) but I don't wanna dress shitty, nor do I wanna virtue signal my poorness. I guess I'm just looking for solid working class styles.

looking around for workwear inspo online will give you a LOT to work with. the problem is it's very popular for people outside of the actual economic class. thrifting will be huge for you.

Sweet, this is so helpful. Another style I'm interested in is skinhead styles, however due to local circumstances it isn't 100% a good idea for me to dress like a skinhead, are there any similar looks that you would recommend I look into?

Never post a pic of yourself in /fa unless you wanna get roasted. Bunch of hatred in this website. I recommend looking at artists/designers/brands that you like and taking inspo from them. Since you say you already have a style kinda set up then I suppose it shouldn't be too difficult to look for something that you like

i recently got a silver chain bracelet that looks like this kinda. I have a pretty good deal if i decide to also get a necklace chain the same style.
Is it a fashion faux-pas to have the same bracelet and necklace?? i was thinking it might be lame but on the other hand it's a very simple design and i need a new chain.

What is a decent quality tracksuit and a pair of running shoes that's just a solid color and has no visible branding?

Fat as fat ass here in the process of losing weight. Right now all my tops are XL. I plan on keeping my current tops and going for an oversize look. What fit jeans would go with say an oversize long sleeve flannel shirt? Slim fit? Skinny? Straight?

thats an ok bracelet but itd look shit if you had a matching chain

slim or skinny would be fine, but i also dislike straight-fit. just make sure that the silhouette is good and that you like it. also, uniqlo does really good basic oversized tees, if you want a better look.

There's nothing to lose in using it. Just use the foam not the liquid, the alcohol in the liquid will really dry out your skin.
