I'm testing a few Tom Ford perfumes now. On first spray of London I loved it, but now about 20 minutes in it's maybe crossed my personal line of "good stinky" to "bad stinky". Plum Japonais would be perfect on a classy woman. Why the fuck do they discontinue such well received perfumes? I kind of want Tobacco Oud but not for marked up prices.

Doesn't smell like a fragrance for humans per se. It's more like a microenvironment that follows you around. Impersonal in the sense that it doesn't try to be likable, sexy, or impressive. My first fragrance ever :^). I remember when my dad took me to a shopping mall when I was 12 because he decided that it's high time for me to get some real men's cologne. These were early 2000s and we went to a perfume booth and I smelled a few things and liked this Eternity a lot. I remember that I felt guilty for picking this one because the price for it was outrageous for these times and my family always lived rather humble life but my father even didn't bat an eye on it and just cough up the full price for me without any questions. I used eternity for about 6 years and only in my early 20s switched to the (original) YSL L'Homme as it was a gift from one of my ex-gfs. I'm obviously a bit nostalgic about it but Eternity is safe, fresh and snice.

However, sometimes there were threads where even 50 posts were mine if I felt like engaging and had a day off. We always had some shitposting and memes going that have made this place unique and comfy but they’re right that recently the jeremyposting got out of control and I agree that it’s discouraging to come to a thread and see that every other post is a shitpost or some repetitive Jeremy meme.

I'm the person who posts most of new threads to keep the general up. Often in 290-300s. Only you seem to have problems with it. Most likely exactly for this reason >>15957893 If you're trying to suggest that the other shitpost thread was mine then you're wrong. If you actually created it yourself and want to blame me for it then get medical help buddy.

This. I don't know why people fall for this while it's plainly obvious. You have literally do one thing:
IGNORE ALL JEREMYPOSTS. DON'T ENGAGE WITH ANY JEREMYPOSTS.
And as last few weeks show, always create a new thread if someone posted a shitty one that encourages derailing. Let them play with crayons in those they created: win-win. For some reason some autists love to raid this general and we've been through this before many times. Eventually they get bored if they don't get any (you)s.

To make it on topic. SOTD is JF Schwarzlose Altruist. I bought it because it was a 2017 winner of the Indie category o A+O awards. I'm quite underwhelmed though. It's perfectly nice clean scent but nothing to write home about. However, I've noticed one quite strong trend in modern niche perfumery thanks to it. People started using quite a lot of some synthetic mineral-ozonic note that reminds me of dental office. I noticed it in MAB Ganymede, B-683, Altruist, Rich Mess, Club Design. Funnily enough, all are award winning niche frags from last 3 years. Any guesses what that could be?
