Im gonna be honest with you anons: this is exactly why I smoke.
I mean casually smoke, only in social situations when viable or when Im visible to people. It makes every "pose" instantly a hundred times better. Im not addicted to it still, never smoked when Im home alone or anything like that, only when Im seen and I want to keep a good appearance. I absolutely realize that this SCREAMS insecurities and it is true, but it also simply works. When someone gazes upon you and you are just awkwardly standing or you dont know what to do with your hands, puffing one is a way to go to simply "look good".
There is also a whole protocol on how to smoke and look the best while doing it.

What is it? I never thought about trying to look cool while smoking but here's how I look doing it in public:
>pull out pack of smokes, use thumb to lift one, put to my mouth and take it out like that (usually because my other hand is opening a door, I don't wait until I'm outside to take it out)

lets just put it this way: you definitely dont want to look like your everyday Bob from construction, who just quickly took a break and swallows one cig up just before his boss comes screaming that Bob is always on a smoke break. Or like Laura from clothing retail, squatting just around the corner outside of the shop, right beside the trash bin. Obviously whole lot of people get addicted to smoking and then they look like heroin addicts who are so eager to take the next hit. You simple dont want to look like you NEED to smoke, but rather that you WANT to. The cig should be between your fingers right near the knuckles, not all the way at the tips (at the tips only if you are a female, but even that is 50%, since some look good some dont, I dont really dive into it since Im not a girl, I dont care). Have the cig at the edge of your mouth, and have it sit there even when you are not inhaling. Just let it sit there, as said, you dont need to take a puff every second, even when its already in your mouth.
