Got this a year ago, the dial and handset were great, but the case was absolutely demolished by overzealous polishing. Sent it off to a literal magician in Poland who through sorcery brought it back to basically NOS condition via micro-welding and sallaz polishing. He's a god, in my books.

I hate the double batons because when you put two of them together like that, they look too thick, and it looks like there's no beveling or very little because they just seem to be two big flat blocks of lume stuck together. it doesn't look elegant or classy and then when you go 41mm it loses all claim to being a nice little dress watch and becomes a sport watch, only it doesn't have the personality to pull it off. there's no wow factor.

The movement is more complicated because it's basically two movements. More parts, attached to each other in a complicated way. It's a huge pain in the ass and more steps means more chance of messing something up, more things to look at and look for. A lot of watchmakers just don't want to bother and neither does Omega. They pass the cost on to you.
