Yeah it always looked cool. Normies really hated this back in the day, they thought society was collapsing and now it's nostalgia.

I hated how youd agree to go raving with these broads thinking you were gonna smoke some jib and have a crazy bondage orgy but instead it was nothing but dancing and greeting every single member of her 300 strong social network

The Emo era was the swan song of youth sub-culture. Everything that's followed has been a slow death rattle.

Although heavily inspired by J-pop, it still retained its own unique aesthetic and really marked the last era with any kind of identifiable rock sub culture before the "urban influence" rap became the absolute status quo across all boards.

It's bound to make a comeback before too long, but guarantee it'll be to a rap influenced soundtrack. Rap already appropriated battle vests, crust... and most recently nu-metal sensibilities... so it's only a matter of time.

I think glam emo (00s) that everyone thinks of as “emo” was cringe. I am a 90s emo person all the way. Music was better. Scenes were better. Emotional punk is how it started, that’s how it should’ve stayed.

There is already emo rap that exists, check out h3artcrush and capoxxo. Sounds like the ones from MySpace back in the day but less cringe. BOTDF type shit was the cringiest music I’ve ever come to know.
