Oxford lace-ups leather with stitched leather soles in any style, e.g., cap-toe, wingtip, brogue or whatever are so hard to find. Everything is plastic and rubber soled, and meant to be throw-away. Really awful tbqh.

>> No.15807537

It depends on what you mean. They're definitely on their way on in their traditional context (businesswear). In America at least. Business clothing is frowned upon for west coast companies. In the east, only older men wear them, as younger businessmen have trended towards more lenient standards of business dressing. Young guys would probably wear loafers, wingtips, boots, derbies, or even sneakers before the classic oxford shoe.
For style in terms of personal fashion, I think they're very good if used appropriately. With a little taste, you can absolutely make them a part of your everyday wardrobe.

That's hardly pointy. Maybe adds 1-2 inches ahead but you get used to it and higher quality leather lets it crease nicely. Leather is going to crease, and you do have to walk differently in dress shoes than sneakers but you aren't going to be running in oxfords, hopefully.

Are you genuinely retarded? The shoe industry is booming and with thebintern you can get any shoe you want sent your door. If it doesn't fit just exchange it.
I have a huge collection of fine leather shoes, all with leather soles. Got some Carminas, Meermin, Allen Edmonds, White's and looking at getting more

Those are not clownish at all. They are very timeless elegant Oxford lace-ups. They have a substantial leather sole, are not trendy pointed or upturned at toe like far too many so-called "formal men's shoes" of 21st century.
