Where do you get your fix, strapoholics? Im in yurop and use uhrenarmbandversand and trendart24, sometimes amazon, but I dont want to support that fag any longer. Any (international) brands you recommend? Ive been burned by the cheapestnatostraps bitch in added fees.

Currently on a lookout for an adjustable rubber strap with a clasp.

JUST söiko things. Old alpinist and many more are sending their regards.

There is only one design from seiko that i honestly like. The rest either lacks in dial or in case design for me. It's always a bit off. It's sometimes close but never love at first sight. Captain willards is one of these rare cases. Thank god for chinks. Not playing seikos gay little limited edit game.

Someone in an earlier thread said that tutima and damasko tested the durability of their movements for pilots, but I'm not sure what they did. Usually the balance wheel is the one that shits itself on high forces first. When I look at this damasko c51 the balance wheel looks the same. And their other chronograph is just a valjoux 7750. So what gives?

I'd say if value retention is your main goal a Steel Daytona is a little bit better than the RO still. Royal Oaks also scratch really easy and the Rolex is a bit tougher, ceramic bezel or not.
Personally I really dislike the modern Daytona simply because it's actually hard to read the time and I've found out that I hate screw down pushers in a chronograph. It's never ready for you to use when you want it to.
In conclusion: I'd get the Royal Oak and get a Speedy later. Where would you even buy the RO?

You can still pretty easily get a 56KS in good external condition and everything working for under 300€, even the more wanted models with the gold medal. I paid way less for this one, but it needs a new crystal (which is a hassle to swap because it's a bonded type) and running but no idea about condition (I don't mind, I have spares for the parts that usually break). Pictures were not great but as far as I could see, dial and hands were perfect and case unpolished, just dirty. Those are more important for me because I can't do much about them.
For 45KS in good condition, a bit more but surprisingly little difference. For 56LMs, 50€ for ugly ones and over 100€ for popular ones. Even beat up ones seem to rise close to thay these days, which stops making sense for me if I just need them for parts.

They already have back in around 2012 with the PAM 338 but it was a limited edition. 42mm diameter with an ultra thin movement. I’m not surprised people don’t want thinness from Panerai. A big part of the appeal is their chunkiness.

The Due is a complete disaster though. 30m of water resistance is a total joke, don’t know who signed off on that one.

The 4s15 is not a meme, and if you have an independent watchmaker you trust to service it (and if you don't why are you buying vintage watches?) it shouldn't be any more expensive to service than any other reliable vintage movement.

The 4s15 is comparable in quality to an ETA 2892-A2. It's miles better than the kinds of movements you typically get in affordable field watches. The 4s15 is also the modern incarnation of a movement that was first developed in the early 1970s in the form of the 52xx movement.
