it depends how old you are and the colors youre working with
im not gonna go looking for mens shoes rn but something like this are basic and will be an easy throw on with anything shoe but still look halfway decent and not too try hard

the one I posted is the exact model I own. Can't go wrong, work on casual fits and elegant preppy ones too. I own chelsea boots and these are even easier to wear and take off.
Here's the site, the brand is a staple for boat shoes, they aren't so expensive (alla round 100 bucks) and people say they last for years.
