CeraVe is tacky and feels gross on the skin. It didn’t do me any favours.

Currently using:
Neutrogena cleanser (cheap and gets the job done)
Bioderma micellar water for sensitive skin (highly recommend)
HydraLife sorbet water essence (lifesaver for very dry skin and flakiness)
HydraLife intense sorbet cream (light and makes the skin feel smooth)
Diorsnow UV shield spf50+ (hydrating and glowy)

For nights, I swap the sorbet cream for Capture Youth Age Delay Advanced Creme. Would not recommend this product but I gotta use it up.

AM: Cetaphil gentle cleanser, CeraVe moisturizing cream, purito's unscented spf 50 if I'm going out, pop my Accutane 120mg with breakfast, Aquaphor on my lips and any sensitive or peely areas

PM: Same cleanser, same moisturizer but sometimes I'll use Nivea's Creme (the old school one in the tin).

Once my skin is back to normal I'll add back in tretinoin 0.05% in the PM, maybe switch back to the lotion version depending on how much oil comes back, and use The Ordinary's 30% AHA 2% BHA once a week. Been really interested in Azelaic acid too, might cop TO's AA suspension or ask my derm for a script.

>>15730046
Was on the lotion when my face was a wildfire of acne, switched to the cream when I got on Accutane (my last dose is actually tomorrow). 8.5/10, leaves my skin super soft and overall "healthy" feeling, but isn't the best when you put sunscreen over it, and even by itself I've noticed a little bit of what appears to be pilling. Pro tip, try mixing in a bit of your serum into it and it'll be lotion-esque but whatever goodness you mixed it with. It's really up to preference.

Neutrogena cleansers are very good for the price point and are popular for a reason. You should try it sometime. I use micellar water right after cleansing to rid of what’s left and to hydrate the skin.

I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I have this really bizarre problem with my skin. I believe its called hyperpigmentation. my face and neck are like 1 shade darker than the rest of my body and its really noticable.
the thing is, I rarely go outside and whenever I do I always put on sunscreen without exception. my skin always never gets exposed to the sun.

what else could the cause be? I used to be really pale so I don't know why my face suddenly became dark. its only been like this for about a year. but more importantly, what can I do about it?

You are both retards. My mother is nearly 60 years old but looks not a day over 40 because she invested in her skincare. I'm taking from her example. Wait til you wake up at 60 and look in the mirror and see your sagging sun blotched faces. You'll wish you had actually fucking done something about it while you were still young.

I used to have similar problems, this is my go to routine for keeping my skin smooth and plump:

>TLC Sukari Baby Facial by Drunk Elephant
It's expensive as shit, but the cheap dupe is the 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling solution by the Ordinary
>Hydrating serum
Hada Labo Premium is my go to, but any serum with hyaluronic acid will do
>Moisturiser
Klair's Rich Moist Soothing cream, Cicapair or Ceramidin by DrJart+ are my go tos, but any will do.
>Weleda Skinfood on the areas where I flake the most

i used to have that problem too. i figured out that my foaming cleanser was way too harsh and drying, and that the serum i was using at the time had way too much fragrance and was irritating the hell out of my skin. i'd reccomend removing the drying and irritating products from your routine, and focus on hydrating your skin and being gentle with it. if you have sensititve skin, a lot of chemical exfoliators will probably irritate you, so i'd reccomend a peeling gel. it's a super gentle form of physical exfoliation that is really good at removing the crusty bits from your face.

How do I clear up the red around my nostrils? It's more obvious IRL and varies day-to-day. Today it's a bit subdued

It wraps around into my nose so I'm convinced it's some kind of infection. So far I've tried prescription rosacea cream for a month and 2 unrelated antibiotics

Any tips for he permanent milk moustache would also be appreciated

I get that tingly feeling too but I like it. I started using HydraLife 8 years ago and it was good at the time. All their products have been replaced and I only just got into them recently. I’m impressed with the Sorbet Water Essence so far. It instantly gets rid of the flakes on my nose and I ordered two more of the Diorsnow UV shield (on sale). It has high spf and makes my skin hydrated and look glowy. I tried the Jelly mask yesterday and it was not good. Very tacky even after washing.
