hard to tell because not everyone has the same hairline shape, and you could just be maturing. i don’t see that as thin for a blondie. compare older pics if you can, you’ll know best but you could start dermatology there if you want to head start before adding cumin/fin like 75% should have done years ago
>>15618440
i am also NW3V at age 26 and just now starting min/fin/dermarolling/rosemary oil. do you have hopes for yourself? does anyone have hopes for me? transplant fund is about halfway there, trying to wait until 30 to pull the trigger though.

>>15618959
oof bro i’m sorry, that looks pretty drastically receded but idk how thin you’re getting because blonde. if you have full vertex left grow out some bangs to cover it for a few years until you’re ready for the meds.

If you're as bad as my hairline was just try shaving/buzzing it once, It'll be a shock for sure in the beginning but try and let yourself settle in before jumping into crippling insecurity and spending a shit ton on stuff that will make very little difference in the long run or a hair transplant that could go wrong and make no difference.

Obviously easier to settle if you have facial hair or a strong jaw line. If you have a weird shaped head though or a weak chin n no facial my condolences

I can’t post sources here without getting IP banned. But I bought the 5mg pills for prostate cancer. Paid $20 for 28 pills. Crushed them in a pestle and mortar and diluted them with baking flour. Then used a capsule filling tray to make 300~ Capsules with around 0.5mg finasteride capsules.

Haven’t had any side effects other than being less horny, which for me is definitely a good thing. Haven’t had any problems with wood.

The "Derminator" is actually miles better, it's costly at about 150 but when you use it, it's far less likely to causing scarring inside your scalp. YouTube and Google it.
As you use a roller your skin rips at a microscopic level and through prolonged use can cause issues like scarring and blood flow problems
Any auto needler like the Deminator is considered a better machine/technique. Where the needle literally goes in and out and does get "dragged" like a roller

Neither fin or minoxidil will regrow dead follicles. To actually move your hairline forward, you need a hair transplant.
I’m also planning to get hairline advancement/forehead reduction.

I have a pretty expensive derma roller too (Dr Pen V8) but there isn’t a huge amount of data that derma rolling is effective.

Problem is if I don't shampoo for one day it looks super oily and really shows how thin it is. I tried ACV + baking soda every other day for a couple months and my hair didn't get any less oily. Hey you faggots want to know the secret to hair loss prevention (unless you're completely genetically fucked like some people are)

SLEEP

Fuck Danny Roddy. Fuck fin, min, and derma rolling. Pass out at 9-10 PM and wake up at 6-7 AM. No screens in your bed. Cold room. Don't do anything that compromises your sleep. Because estrogen is balanced out with progesterone and when you have too much estrogen, you have less progesterone which protects the hair follicles from dht. So it's not the estrogen that directly causes it.

Next question.

And even if what you said was right (it's not) getting 8 hours of sleep in a cold room isn't going to fucking change your hormones.

I can't even believe you are continuing to think the cure to hair loss is simply sleep and you can reverse it form sleeping.

This is really a case of when someone can't admit that they're wrong and just continue and it gets more absurd and stupid.

Not saying you're going to grow back the hair that you lost by sleeping more, but you're certainly going to slow it down and regrow shrinking follicles by sleeping more. I also prefaced what I was saying that if you're genetically fucked, you're fucked. But keep popping those dick killing pills.

It seems like sleep hasn't raised your self esteem lol..

You need good quality sleep for many things in life, it's vitally important but it's still not going to somehow protect hair follicles that are susceptible to dht damage.

It's just absurd to tell people if they are experiencing hair loss getting 8 hours of sleep a night wills top it. There is nothing ti support that at all whatsoever in any way. Please go and debate this with hair loss professionals. It's a garbage debate.

>imagine being willing to break your dick to protect

The percentage is tiny and you take half a pill at first to see how it goes. Then it's reversible. There are people that say their life got fucked up by a simple over the counter pain killer when it;s likely the issue is with them. Then the other option is a life time of being bald and hating yourself.

>which will increase your overall quality of life

Cool strawman. I'm an advocate for long sleep and no shitty social media before bed. But that wasn't the argument.

You;re saying sleep is a hairloss cure which again is fucking batshit insane. Hair loss is not worse now than it was 200 years ago and life can be much faster paced and stressful now with tv before bed. What you're saying just makes no sense whatsoever.

So if a guy has good sleep his dht will drop and his test? Just what? Less stress will mean less cortisol hormone and stress induced hairloss (Telogen effluvium) is different and usually reversible.

Just please, for the sake of people here, stop posting nonsense. It's just cruel if some guy thinks his hairloss will be cured by getting some extra sleep. Evil.

Of course you need to sleep or your hormones will be all over the place. Sleep is the most important thing for everything.

First you need to see to that. Then you need to see about using hairloss products.

Sleep in itself is not a hairloss product though and that's not what they mean.

ARGHGHH. Why is this so hard to understand???

It's like saying to build muscle sleep is the most important thing. It is, but it doesn't build muscle alone. You're going to hit the weights for that or else simply sleeping will build nothing. Just like how simply sleeping will not cure hairloss.

The point being the poster is telling people to avoid all hairloss products and if they are balding simply "sleep more" and their baldness will stop which is outright fucking stupid. Period. They are saying the cause of baldness in hundreds of millions of men for thousands of years is lack of sleep and if they only slept an hour more baldness would nor exist.

This is going to be somewhat shitty news but... have you tried using 1 of the products fin/minox rather than both at once? Because sometimes people will use minox and if they get regrowth, they will stop the minox and believe that fin will keep the new hair.

That is not always so though as they work in different ways so it;s honestly better to just use fin and see the results and if you get no regrowth, then use minox.

>your thoughts on minoxidil on the top/hairline? wasted product entirely or worth trying?

If you have had no results from fin in that area then absolutely try minox. The generic brand costs next to nothing, there is nothing to lose.

You can even look into "zix" if you have never heard of it. It's something you can make yourself. Now you might think it's some bullshit solution people have made up, but the main ingredients feature in almost all of the other non-minox hairloss topical liquids and they;re usually much more expensive.

Now hairloss is devastating, some guys commit suicide over it. Think about it 24/7. Then when someone gives people here "hope" they can cure it by simply sleeping a little more, I just do not think it is right. We know why hairloss occurs. It is down to hormones. If you're sleeping 1 hour here and there you will fuck up almost all of your body, that's a given. But if you're not, you need to address the hormones killing your hair follicles.

Brazil nuts have selenium in them and too much of that causes HAIR LOSS. Their diet might already contain plenty of selenium so there is no need for anymore.

It’s over for a few in this thread, but most of you just have a post-pubescent male hairline, widows peak or thin hair. It’s not about the shape of your hairline, it’s about the change over time. You will know if you’re balding because it will start coming out in clumps while showering and you’ll see it in the mirror. I’ve had the same high widows peak since I was 17 and it has barely changed. Not everyone will have a Chico tier NW -1.

My father had worse hairline at my age and he lost it slow and hard. He still looked good well into his 30’s because he grew it out and the bangs hid the recession. Plus he has a good face. I’m still going strong so far. My maternal grandfather had a perfect hairline at 60 if that’s worth anything.
Most men bald. You should have married by the time all falls off. Stop stressing so much and stop taking pills that kill your dick, just live healthy.

interesting, i will look into it. currently use shea butter to carry a little argan and rosemary oil as a conditioner and will consider using fin without min for awhile. i have seen regrowth while using both. hard to see because of color and lighting but my vertex isn’t bare skin yet, but it was close 3 months ago when i started. btw appreciate the honest help cecil, i’m just trying to get to 30+ before a transplant, because i know it’s basically over for me

Your frontal recession isn't really that bad, unfortunately, yes, you are a bit of a diffuse thinner in the vertex area.

If you stop minox, you could grow your hair a little longer. If you're keeping your hair buzzed to make applying minox easier, it kinda defeats the purpose in some way, like you;re using it to stop going bald but you keep buzzing to make yourself look as bald as possible. If that makes sense.

If you grew it a little longer, then added hair fibres in the thin areas, you'd only look like someone who was slightly receding. Of course you could have a shorter cut at the bag and leave it slightly longer as you get to the front and the frontal recession would show even less.

Maybe also check out "exosomes hair regeneration"

thank you for being real with me. i also thought the buzz was counterproductive but my dad recommended it, yet he lost it all just using min and buzzing and he never tried fin. the buzz was twofold because of ease during da ronas. looking back at pictures of me in high school my hairline was pretty much that shape around 18 when i got rid of the bieber bangs but i had no diffuse thinning at that time. i think my few years of vegetarianism after college fucked me because i didn’t do it smart and lost a lot during that time then it slowed dramatically when i went back to a normal healthy diet. should i keep at 1mg of fin or split these pills?

pic was me before buzz btw for everyone else thinking of buzzing. nobody called me bald on here before that lol

>Noticeable but light shedding for a week, seemingly stopped now
>Every now and then a slight "heavieness" in balls that subsides after a few minutes

Been on it for about a month now. after noticing minor diffuse thinning at crown and no recession in temples. Is this normal?

>> No.15627033

>>15626913
I'd probably start at 1/2 mg and take it from there. You can actually get topical fin, although it's not sold that much and could probably make your own from the pills so there are other options available if one doesn't work.

There are plenty of people with hair loss that you'd never know because of how they style their hair. I'd style it in the way it makes you look the least balding and then hope the fin etc. either keeps that hair or increases it.

You could grow it around an inch and have it just messed up that will cover up most of the recession. It's also a haircut you can buzz yourself on a larger clip guide.

>>15626980
The shedding is normal and a good sign, there shouldn't really be a feeling in the nuts, the sides people relate to the sex side are less sex drive and not as hard erections but a lot is probably fin anxiety and if it is really the case you can lower the dose, stop it, apply it topically and it;s going to reverse things. In fact some have even reported a higher sex drive.

I'm 21 and I am getting a bit nervous now, my hairline seems to be pretty much the same as always, in pics as a little kid it is nearly identical, but I think it is starting to lose its shape a bit. I always had the thickest hair out of anyone I knew but it started thinning out a bit like 1.5 years ago. I still have really thick hair and it seems to have stopped but I think my hairline is starting to change.
I'm kind of conflicted because I would really like to lose some weight, but I also know that caloric restriction is just begging to have your hair fall out. How much does quality of food and exercise affect it though? I haven't been to the gym in like 2 years and I eat kind of shitty and I'm stressed out of my damn mind, but if I work out again and eat well, could that stop the loss from caloric restriction? I guess, thinking about it now, my hair started thinning when I quit lifting like a madman. Or do I just need to get on fin now while I still have most of my hair?
