yes, alarm, so finely designed it acts as the Sun on the picture.

My deceased mother bought me the clock and I used it every day to go to school, it was a surprisingly accurate clock, around +5 minutes per month. Now I started it just to hear it, has been 20 years without running, I thought it was KO because one day it fell and stopped working, so I moved it a bit and apparently it runs now, I also opened it and everything looks to be on the right place.

I think I'll have to settle on a sapphire sandwich Speedy guys... I just either can't afford any of the watches that I actually want or they're too cheap/shitty brand, and this is I guess a pretty good compromise of being a known brand and looking kind of like I want it to look.

I just wish the new ones weren't so expensive or I'd get one of those, do you think there will ever be a release of a cheap Speedy again or is the new one the new default price for a "generic" one?

You can still get a speedmaster for a reasonable price depending on the model. Pic related is my 40th anniversary edition of the original speedy. I didn't choose it for the price, but it's one of the more affordable ones thanks to it no "being a moonwatch", even though the movement and case are the same as a professional. I believe you can get it for a bit under 3k. I'd love a sapphire sandwich, but I prefer the look of the hesalite and omega only made one edition with that crystal and a see-through caseback
