Thrift shopping in a midwestern city is not ideal for cultivating an aesthetic. I used to shop Uniqlo ASOS a few years ago to varied success but I want to know what the best online shops are now.

secondhand:
>grailed
>yahoo japan auctions
you'll need to use a proxy service like buyee or jauce, they're easy to use for a secondary layer over a website that's entirely in japanese though

New:
>ssense
>endclothing
>farfetch
all sell designer, all have very good sales a few times a year

> yoox
carries mostly high-end designer stuff that other stores couldn't sell, their price is almost always 30-50% off retail already
>slamjam
italian store that sells posh streetwear brands that for the most part aren't embarrassing and made for chinese exchange students
> dover street market webstore
the webstore kinda sucks but they have a well curated selection – if you're ever in a city that has one they're a must visit tho

>lyst
this is a search engine that searches a bunch of clothing stores, very useful if you know at least somewhat what you want and want to find the cheapest price
