I’ve had this thing for about three months now. I’ve been wearing it more or less daily since then.
I’m still really impressed. The build quality and all that feels super good. The bracelet is fine, very solid and not jangly or anything. It’s not supremely comfortable, but it’s not a problem for me to wear it all day.
In the first few weeks it ran at about -2 per day and now it’s settled in at +2-3, which is awesome.

Thinking about taking the LSAT. Since I don't own a watch, I was thinking about getting an LSAT-compliant watch that I could also wear with a suit/office clothes.

So I'm looking for an analog watch without any dedicated start/stop functionality (eg a chronograph), and a rotating bezel with numbers. What's the dressiest watch I can get for under $100?

I don't know about that, but on my county you are not allowed to wear anything during an official exam, not a single watch because they could be devices used for cheating, imagine the test is about to mark ABCD and inside the watch there is some kind of vibrator or light that is activated by someone else to tell you the answers.

I like the grey because of the blue hands, but dark grey/steel indicies isn't enough contrast in a dial for me. The blue dial one is more attractive in that regard, slightly.
I like that this brand is honest.
>made in china with pride (no homo)
unlike 99% of swiss shit, which is made mostly in china in fucking shame because if they printed the truth on those dials
>designed in switzerland, made 99% in china
nobody would pay the asking prices.
They don't choose to make in china because of expertise or quality of manufacturing in china, nobody who outsources there does. It's done because it's cheap. Labor's cheap, and every conceivable corner that can be cut will be.
Fuck that noise.
Better to just buy a seagull or a maison than virtually all """swiss""" shit below rolex and jlc.

Nobody in Japan that has money wears GS, unless it's the CEO of some home industry that's trying to look humble and patriotic, ie. someone deliberately making a statement.
People who buy luxury watches reach for what people the world over reach for when they think luxury watch: "swiss".

>I like that this brand is honest.
Fucking this.
In a world of luxury brands (including the people you'd think would be above that) abusing the leeway labels give them to slap their "swiss made" certification, it's refreshing to see someone just go "hey, we'll make everything in-house, our house just happens to be chinese but that's great for you : we can have high standards and good QC AND very low prices because our well-paid employees are still chinese"

>buy cheap and shitty version of something
>complain it's cheap and shitty
It's likely scratchy because of cheap heat sealing on the ends. Eulit straps don't have that problem since they're heat sealed properly. Adjustment is a once and done thing by doubling the strap back through the buckle so it's not too long, and the buckle pin has a collar so that it always goes through the centre of the strap when you put it on, cheaper straps don't usually have the collar so the pin doesn't often go through the centre of the strap.
Eulit isn't even that expensive, though I guess that might depend on where you live.

Speaking of Seiko, I managed to buy a NOS black/orange monster for $235. Just got it today and was able to resize the infamous pin and collar with just 2 spring bar tools. Only have 6.75" wrists but it's smaller than I imagined and I'm really loving the fit and comfort. Gonna put on a nato at the meantime as I'm not fully confident that I seated the collars properly.

Eulit straps centre the pin and there's no problem finding a hole since they're literally everywhere on the strap, and I personally find off centre to be annoying, I like you initially bought a cheap perlon and found out it wasn't great.
My blue strap cost €15 delivered, though €5 of that was for postage from Germany to the UK, still pretty cheap though.
